* Caldera Thin Clients, a software company between 1998 and 1999 to develop DOS based thin-client solutions

Lineo was a thin client and embedded systems company spun out of Caldera Thin Clients, on 20 July 1999.

Caldera Thin Clients, Inc., had been created as a subsidiary of Caldera, Inc., on 2 September 1998.

Caldera Thin Clients ' original President and CEO was Roger Gross, who resigned in January 1999.

As ownership changed, various later versions were produced as Novell DOS, Caldera OpenDOS, etc.

DRI ( and later its successor Caldera, Inc .) accused Microsoft of announcing vaporware versions of MS-DOS to suppress sales of DR-DOS.

The area known as Island Park is mostly a large crater or caldera named the Henry's Fork Caldera that was created by the same hotspot that created the earlier Island Park Caldera and the later Yellowstone Caldera.

The founding members of United Linux were SUSE, Turbolinux, Conectiva ( now merged with MandrakeSoft to form Mandriva ) and Caldera International ( later renamed to The SCO Group ).

In 2000, SCO's UNIX business was purchased by Caldera Systems, a Linux distributor, who later renamed themselves to SCO Group.

Remaining Communist fighters were later given a general amnesty by President Rafael Caldera as part of his " pacificacion " process.

It was founded on January 13, 1946, by Rafael Caldera, who later served as president under the party's banner.

Later DOS versions natively supporting preemptive multitasking / multithreading include Concurrent DOS, Multiuser DOS, Novell DOS ( later called Caldera OpenDOS and DR-DOS 7. 02 and higher ).
