Everlast teamed up with DJ Lethal and high school friend Danny Boy to form House of Pain.

Founded by Danny Boy in early 2006, La Coka Nostra reunited him, Everlast and DJ Lethal for the first time since House of Pain's split.

Bennington appeared on DJ Lethal ’ s " State of the Art " and other work with Dead by Sunrise, while Shinoda did work with Depeche Mode.

DJ Lethal, formerly of the hip hop group House of Pain, joined the band as a turntablist ; Durst's disagreements with Borland led the guitarist to quit and rejoin the band.

After Limp Bizkit finished a tour with the band Deftones, Durst and DJ Lethal were asked by Max Cavalera, formerly of the band Sepultura, to appear on " Bleed ", a song from the self-titled debut of his new band Soulfly.

In addition to the core band, Soulfly featured Mario C., Burton C. Bell, Dino Cazares and Christian Olde Wolbers from Fear Factory, Fred Durst and DJ Lethal from Limp Bizkit, Chino Moreno from Deftones, Benji Webbe formerly of Welsh band Dub War and now a member of Skindred, Eric Bobo from Cypress Hill and Jorge do Peixe and Gilmar Bola Oito from Chico Science & Nação Zumbi.

After DJ Lethal joined the band as a turntablist, Borland left Limp Bizkit after a disagreement with Durst.

Ill Bill was the main voice behind the now disbanded Non Phixion, and is currently involved with La Coka Nostra, along with Slaine, Danny Boy and DJ Lethal of House of Pain & Limp Bizkit fame.

It also features production by DJ Muggs, T-Ray, DJ Lethal, Necro, DJ Premier and Ill Bill himself.

Later on guitarist Wes Borland came into the fold, as well as DJ Lethal in 1996.
