Apostle Dallin Oaks is an example of such a case.

A detailed legal analysis of the Nauvoo City Council's actions was undertaken by Dallin H. Oaks, then a professor at the University of Chicago Law School.

After the letter had been purchased for the church and become public knowledge, Apostle Dallin Oaks asserted to Mormon educators that the words " white salamander " could be reconciled with Joseph Smith's Angel Moroni because in the 1820s, the word salamander might also refer to a mythical being thought to be able to live in fire, and a " being that is able to live in fire is a good approximation of the description Joseph Smith gave of the Angel Moroni.

In August 1987, the sensationalist aspects of the Hofmann case led Apostle Dallin Oaks to believe that church members had witnessed " some of the most intense LDS Church-bashing since the turn of the century.

Dallin, the son of Thomas and Jane ( Hamer ) Dallin, was born in Springville, Utah, to a family then belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ( Mormons ).

Torlief Knaphus fashioned a replica of the Cyrus Dallin angel in the 1930s, but the casting of his angel was never placed on a temple until many years later.

Although there have been line-up changes, the group enjoyed most success as a trio made up of lifelong friends Siobhan Fahey, Keren Woodward and Sara Dallin.

Since 1992, Woodward and Dallin have continued Bananarama as a Duo.

Bananarama were founded in London in 1979 by Fahey, Woodward and Dallin, the latter two having been childhood friends in Bristol since the age of four, and attending St. George's School for Girls together.

The pair became a trio when Dallin met Fahey while studying fashion journalism in London.

Also in 1986, Dallin and Woodward were featured as backing vocalists on two songs on Family Album, produced by John Lydon.

In 1993, Dallin and Woodward returned as a duo with a new album called Please Yourself, which also marked the return of production duties back to the remaining members of SAW, Stock and Waterman.

In 1998, Dallin and Woodward recorded the track " Waterloo " ( a cover of the classic ABBA song ) together with Fahey for the Eurovision celebration A Song for Eurotrash on Channel 4.

The track was written by Sara Dallin and Ian Masterson and was released on December 13 in the UK and Europe as a digital EP.

Captain John Dallin named the resort after his daughter, Geneva, in 1890.

The only artists from the original Band Aid to be featured again on this version were Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward of Bananarama.

While in London, Fahey took a course in fashion journalism where she met Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward and joined their fledgling group, Bananarama.

His father, who was an ophthalmologist, died when Dallin was seven years old.
