The Italian poet Dante says of Aristotle in the first circles of hell,

Dante, in the Paradiso ( x. 134-6 ), says that he found " death slow in coming ," and some have concluded that this indicates death by suicide.

He then says that Dante came to work of his own volition and overcompensates for having a monkey's job.

They reconcile and Dante says he will try to talk to Veronica and visit Caitlin and possibly get some direction in his life.

With the exception of Devil May Cry 4, Dante says the phrase " Devils never cry " in every game, implying that no matter how much of a demon he may prove to be, his ability to cry makes his human side precious to him.

Contrary to popular belief, although the verses of Jingle Jangle are supposedly sung by either Betty or Veronica ( the only two female members of the fictional group ), in reality, it was not performed by any female vocalist, rather it was Dante using a falsetto voice.

Il Fiore is a " reduction " of the poem into 232 Italian sonnets by a " ser Durante ", sometimes thought to have been Dante, although this is generally thought unlikely.

The topography of Baator is broadly derived from the Hell described in Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy, although the arrangement and names of the layers of Baator differ greatly from the circles of Hell described by Dante.

However, there are local foreign language schools such as the Asociación Bahiense de Cultura Inglesa ( English, also taught by many other institutions ), the Alliance Française ( French ), the Dante Alighieri Society ( Italian ) and Goethe-Institut ( German ), all of them private although with a good number of students.

For this game, Dante is shown to have a habit of flipping a coin to make his decisions, although it is revealed at the end of the game that both sides of the coin are heads.

However it is discovered that Konstanitine escaped and so has Vladimir, Konstantine later sends a message challenging Dante to a duel saying the winner shall rule the empire, the duel ends it Dante killing Konstantine, and now Dante and Jena are planning to wed but on the day of there wedding Sargent Elena Kurakin tells Dante that they have found Vladimir, Dante leads a Raid on the remainders of Vladimirs loyalists, when he enters the room he sees Vladimir sitting there calmly with an antique pistol and puts a single bullet in it saying they should play for the empire.

Vladimir tells Dante that he has to be crueler than all the other tsars before him like he was after Tsar Ivan The Oppressor, Dante says he has to be better than them, Vladimrir tells him his enemies will see that as weakness and they will take advantage of that, he tells him that he once executed three of his closest friends because one of them was a spy, he asks Dante could he do that to Sargent Elena Kurakin, and then says that Jena and him won't last and they will come crule and inbitters and when he takes the pistol choose your target wisely, Dante puts the pistol to his head and it clicks, Vladimir takes the pistol and declares Dante the tsar of all the Russians and kills himself.

* Tsarina Eugenia ( Jena ) Vladimirovna Makarova-the Tsar's eldest daughter and Dante's on-off love interest she has a love hate relationship with Dante kissing him and then hating him for cheating on her.

* Sir Richard Hawksmoore-former Tsarist warrior turned mercenary, obsessed with Jena Makarov ; Secretly conspired with Mikhail Deriabin to Kidnap Jena and start a civil war between Tsar Vladimir The Conqueror and The Romanovs so that they could take power when the war was over unfortunately for both of them Dante goes as Jena's personal bodyguard.

Readers accustomed to identifying poetry with Dante, Goethe, Mickiewicz and Rumi may think of it as written in lines based on rhyme and regular meter ; however, there are traditions, such as Biblical poetry, that use other means to create rhythm and euphony.

Petrarch was moved to defend Celestine vigorously against the accusation of cowardice and some modern scholars ( e. g., Mark Musa ) have suggested Dante may have meant someone else ( Esau, Diocletian and Pontius Pilate have been variously suggested ).

" The Latin word " murus " ( wall ) may be related to it ( M. Pittau, philologist ), as the old Italian word " mora " ( tombal rock mound ), as used by Dante in his " Comedy ".

Even earlier, Dante, in a passing reference in the 19thcanto of the Inferno, speaks of ` the treacherous assassin '( lo perfido assassin ); his fourteenth-century commentator Francesco da Buti, explaining a term which for some readers at the time may still have been strange and obscure, remarks: ' Assassino è colui che uccide altrui per danari ' ( An assassin is one who kills others for money ).

He may say this merely to get Dante and Randal to humiliate themselves, but after Silent Bob's disgusted look, he retracts the demand.

Many of Beckett ’ s plays and prose pieces are located “ in ‘ places ’ which may strike us as being most adequately described as ‘ Hell ’, ‘ Limbo ’ or ‘ Purgatory ’– and the parallels with Dante are always tempting ” – and indeed the most popular interpretation of Play is that the three are in some place like this.

He also may have been inspired by paintings of Ophelia by Dante Gabriel Rossetti and Millais.

In creating the form, Dante may have been influenced by the sirventes, a lyric form used by the Provençal troubadours.

Among his other literary works may be mentioned: Saggi Critici ( 1868 ); Arte, Storia, e Filosofia ( Florence, 1884 ); Scritti varii ( Bologna, 1894 ); another volume of Saggi Critici ( Bologna, 1896 ); and a volume of Discussioni critiche e discorsi ( Bologna, 1905 ), containing his speeches as president of the Dante Alighieri Society.

Latini asks first, humbly, if he may keep Dante company, letting his group run on.

Some therefore have suggested perhaps that Latini is placed in Canto XV for being violent against art and against his vernacular ( Latini wrote in French instead of Florentine, which Dante championed as a literary language in De Vulgari Eloquentia ); or perhaps also to demonstrate and underline that even the greatest of men may be guilty of private sins.

Dante commented Gizmo may look less real in Gremlins 2, but the result was that Gizmo could convey more emotion.

He wrote for English readers some Essays on Petrarch and on the texts of the Decamerone and of Dante, which are remarkable for when they were written, and which may have initiated a new kind of literary criticism in Italy.

Dante also starts with his four styles ( Trickster, Royal Guard, Sword Master, Gunslinger ), each of which grants him different abilities, but he may now switch them at will with buttons or pads on the PlayStation 3 controller or the Xbox 360 controller, unlike in Devil May Cry 3.
