House of Pain is an American hip hop group who released three albums in the 1990s before lead rapper Everlast left to pursue his solo career again.

After the sale of the Tommy Boy Records ' master tapes to Warner Bros. Records, Everlast signed with Island / Def Jam, and released the solo LP White Trash Beautiful in 2004.

Erik Francis Schrody ( born August 18, 1969 in Valley Stream, New York ), better known by his stage name Everlast, is an American rapper and songwriter, known for his solo hit " What It's Like " and as the front-man for rap group House of Pain.

The group eventually disbanded in 1996, and Everlast once again pursued a solo career.

On May 31, 1998 in the 156-lb final of the USA Boxing / Everlast National Senior Championships in Anaheim, California, Robinson lost to Evelyn Rodriquez of New York by a 10-2 score.

Bronx Style Bob appeared as guest vocalist on Everlast ’ s “ What It ’ s Like ”, “ The Endz ” on Everlast ’ s 1998 Triple Platinum Album, Whitey Ford Sings the Blues, and “ Eat at Whitey's ” released in 2000.

In 2000, a feud between Everlast and rapper Eminem coincided with the gold-selling Eat at Whitey's, which included minor hits " Black Jesus " and " Black Coffee ", and featured a collaboration with Carlos Santana.

Brands of non-wood siding include Everlast Polymeric Cladding, manufactured under the Norandex brand, and Apex Siding made with a pultruded fiberglass process patented by the Marvin Windows and Doors Company.

Following the album's failure, Everlast teamed up with DJ Lethal and high school friend Danny Boy to form House of Pain.

Whitey Ford Sings the Blues was hailed for its blend of rap with acoustic and electric guitars, developed by Everlast together with producers Dante Ross and John Gamble.

Everlast followed-up this success by collaborating with Santana on the track " Put Your Lights On " on Santana's 1999 album Supernatural.

Eminem, in turn, dissed Everlast several times in public and with the song " I Remember ( Dedication to Whitey Ford )", released as the B-side to his group D12's 12 " vinyl single " Shit on You.

Everlast responded with the track " Whitey's Revenge ," released only on his official website.

According to a 2010 Vibe interview with Eminem, the beef has been squashed since then and there is a mutual respect between Mathers and Everlast.

After the sale of the Tommy Boy Records ' catalog of master tapes to Warner Bros. Records and its metamorphosis to a dance music label in 2002, Everlast was without a label, but in 2003 he signed with Island / Def Jam.

In early 2006, Everlast teamed up with his former House of Pain mates DJ Lethal and Danny Boy to join the hip-hop group La Coka Nostra.

Everlast works with USA Boxing on various community outreach programs, including a boxing-inspired circuit workout with the 2008 USA Olympic Boxing team and the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem.

He also put out the record Dust, an atmosphere-heavy trip-hop affair with Greg Dulli, Amy Trujillo and Everlast on vocals.

Kid Rock incorporates country and Southern rock influences, and is backed by a 10 piece band, while Everlast fuses blues and rock with hip hop, performing with a live band that includes a DJ.

Featuring collaborations with artists such as Everlast, Divine Styler, and Dilated Peoples, the re-issued album received the 2001 Juno Award for Best Rap Recording.

“ No Mercy ” the album's first single would go on to be a staple at pop radio, and Khaleel toured with Shawn Mullins and Everlast, who both occupied top 10 billboard chart positions with “ Rockabye and “ What It ’ s Like ”, respectively.

On the release date of the album, Everlast announced his departure from the group.

Before the release, Everlast announced on his official message board that he was not endorsing the compilation album.

White Trash Beautiful is the fourth album by Everlast, released internationally on May 25, 2004 and a day later in the United States on Island Records.

The album includes appearances from Necro, Tech N9ne, B-Real of Cypress Hill, Everlast, Bad Brains, Max Cavalera of Soulfly, Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks, Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage, Immortal Technique and Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan.

Founded by Danny Boy in early 2006, La Coka Nostra reunited him, Everlast and DJ Lethal for the first time since House of Pain's split.
