The team has six National Champions since 2000: Jeff Hannan in Student Congress, Scott Jacobson in Student Congress, Matt Futch in Student Congress, Allison Pena in Extemp Commentary, and in 2011-Jamaque Newberry in Dramatic Interpretation and Jared Odessky in US Extemporaneous Speaking.
On the national stage, in addition to the NCFL national championship, the team also had a member reach the Semi-Finals of the Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions at Northwestern University, the octafinal round of Domestic Extemp at NFL Nationals, and the Semi-Finals of Student Congress at NCFL, all during the 2011-2012 school year.
