Charles Frank " Chuck " Mangione (; born November 29, 1940 ) is an American flugelhorn player and composer who achieved international success in 1977 with his jazz-pop single, " Feels So Good.

This version of Mangione ’ s band recorded and toured behind the hit studio albums “ Feels So Good ” and “ Fun and Games ,” as well as the “ Children of Sanchez ” film soundtrack recordings, and were some of the musicians that played on various songs as part of Mangione's 1980 “ Tarantella " benefit concert.

The band was also featured, along with a 70-piece orchestra, on the live album “ An Evening of Magic ,” which was recorded at the Hollywood Bowl on July 16, 1978, at the height of Mangione ’ s success from “ Feels So Good .” Performances of material new and old included versions of “ Main Squeeze ,” “ Hill Where the Lord Hides ” and “ Chase the Clouds Away .” Mangione opened and closed the show with “ Feels So Good ” and its “ Reprise ” version.

Recently, smooth jazz stations throughout the United States have recognized Mangione's " Feels So Good " as their all-time number one song.

A fourth single was released in February 2001, " Feels So Good " which peaked at No. 5, followed by a fifth single, " Lullaby ", a pop number dedicated to her daughter.

" " Island Girl " by Elton John and " Moonlight Feels Right " by Starbuck also prominently feature the instrument.

This Left Feels Right is a Bon Jovi compilation album with new versions of Bon Jovi songs from previous albums.

This Left Feels Right has sold 549, 727 copies in the US ( July 2007 ).

This was Bon Jovi's reason for later removing the two new songs from the album, however Last Man Standing was later reworked and turned into a much more heavy aggressive rock song for inclusion on Bon Jovi's 2005 studio album, Have a Nice Day, a somewhat opposite effect of the This Left Feels Right project.

The original version of " Last Man Standing " and " Thief of Hearts " were both later released as part of the box set 100, 000, 000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong and are also included as live versions on the This Left Feels Right Live DVD.
