Patrick did the vocals and the majority of the instrumentation on the album except for the drumming, which was done by Josh Freese.

Because of other musical commitments Freese was unavailable to play on the album, so substitute Brooks Wackerman filled in as drummer for the album's recording and some accompanying tours.

Because Vandals full-time drummer Josh Freese was involved with other musical projects at the time of the album's recording, a number of fill-in drummers were recruited to play most of the drum tracks on the album: Brooks Wackerman of Infectious Grooves and Suicidal Tendencies, Erik Sandin of NOFX, and Rat Scabies of The Damned.

Due to other commitments Stewart was not available to play drums on the album, so Tommy Lee and Josh Freese performed drums in his place.

Tommy showed interest in the project, and he and Josh Freese joined to play bass and drums with the band.

A small controversy was caused when it was suggested that neither Lee nor Mars played on the new tracks ( duties were supposedly handled by Vandals drummer Josh Freese ).

Based on the dates of the film and of the band's involvement with the Freese family, it is most likely that the band's lineup of Dave Quackenbush, Warren Fitzgerald, Joe Escalante and Josh Freese ( a lineup which has remained intact since 1990 ) should receive credit for the performances on these last two songs.

The Damning Well was a rock supergroup composed of Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit on guitar, Danny Lohner formerly of Nine Inch Nails on bass, Richard Patrick of Filter on vocals, and Josh Freese of A Perfect Circle, on drums.

Led by NL MVP Frank Robinson, they were buoyed by three other factors: the maturation of young players such as outfielder Vada Pinson and pitchers Jim O ' Toole, Ken Hunt and Jim Maloney ; the acquisition of key contributors such as pitcher Joey Jay ( who became a 20-game winner ) and third baseman Gene Freese ; and surprise slugging and clutch hitting performances by first baseman Gordy Coleman, Jerry Lynch ( one the greatest pinchhitters in baseball history ), and veteran Wally Post.

Professional drummer Josh Freese had recorded the drum tracks for the band's 2003 album Splinter after Welty left the group.
