Pussy Galore was an American garage rock band that formed in Washington, D. C. in 1985.

Shortly following the release of Right Now !, Hagerty left the band and was replaced by Kurt Wolf, but he was to return to the Pussy Galore line-up following the release of the Sugarshit Sharp EP with Wolf leaving to join Loudspeaker.

He had a role in the 1949 Ealing comedy Whisky Galore !, based on the book by Sir Compton Mackenzie, and in the first TV series of created by Neil Munro's masterpiece of west coast " high jinks ", Para Handy-Master Mariner, he played the eponymous Captain.

Whisky Galore is a novel written by Compton Mackenzie, published in 1947.

After Bond and Felix Leiter foil " Grand Slam ", Galore runs into Bond while impersonating a stewardess on Goldfinger's hijacked escape flight to the Soviet Union ( which carries his remaining fortune in gold ), and Bond is drugged by a fake vaccination and kidnapped to join Goldfinger on the plane, where Goldfinger is determined to kill him at last.

John Gardner writes in Win, Lose or Die as a military affairs reporter who describes the operations of a Harrier VTOL aircraft as lovingly as Fleming described Pussy Galore.

He later used Blackwell as the model for Pussy Galore in his novel Goldfinger and Blackwell gave him a boat called Octopussy, the name of which he used for a later short story.

Bert contributed during the last half of the 1980s as percussionist for noise band Pussy Galore, as well as their splinter group Boss Hog.
