Authors whose usage predates Steiner's include occultist Agrippa von Nettesheim, alchemist Thomas Vaughn ( Anthroposophia Theomagica ), and philosophers Immanuel Hermann Fichte and Robert Zimmermann ( Anthroposophie im Umriss ); Steiner wrote his doctoral thesis on Fichte and attended Zimmermann's classes at the University of Vienna.

In July 1600 Oxford wrote requesting Sir Robert Cecil's help in securing an appointment as Governor of the Isle of Jersey, once again citing the Queen's unfulfilled promises to him.

The English Rosicrucian society, founded in 1867 by Robert Wentworth Little, claimed Bulwer-Lytton as their ' Grand Patron ', but he wrote to the society complaining that he was ' extremely surprised ' by their use of the title, as he had ' never sanctioned such '.

The most prominent case is Robert T. Morris, who was a user of MIT-AI, yet wrote the Morris worm.

Robert Harley of The Absolute Sound wrote, in a 2008 editorial ( on Issue 183 ), that " blind listening tests fundamentally distort the listening process and are worthless in determining the audibility of a certain phenomenon.

" Samuel Butler argues, based on literary observations, that a young Sicilian woman wrote the Odyssey ( but not the Iliad ), an idea further pursued by Robert Graves in his novel Homer's Daughter and Andrew Dalby in Rediscovering Homer.

" There has long been a lively debate about who is the strongest player of all ", wrote GM Robert Byrne in his New York Times column of Aug. 26, 1997.

" In the same magazine in 1995, Dave Henderson wrote: " It's not yet possible to be sacked for showing an affinity for Marillion, but has there ever been a band with a larger stigma attached?

The scholarly critic William James Henderson wrote in The Sun newspaper, for example, that Caruso " has a pure tenor voice and is without the typical Italian bleat ".

In his review, Alex Henderson of AllMusic wrote, " The CD isn't without its pleasures ... but on the whole, Me Amarás is too glossy, too calculated, and much too contrived for its own good.

Louis Prima wrote the swing classic " Sing Sing Sing " which was covered by Fletcher Henderson and Benny Goodman.

A Henderson reporter wrote, " t is almost hazardous for even small gasoline boats to run ".

Leigh Harris, the publisher of the Henderson Gleaner and Evening Journal newspapers, wrote, " Henderson is on the river but never in it!

During the 1920s and very early 1930s, Henderson actually wrote few, if any, arrangements ; most of his recordings were arranged by Redman ( c. 1923 – 1927 ) or Benny Carter ( after 1927 – c. 1931 ).

" Alex Henderson of Allmusic described the record as " disturbing and powerful ," while Joe Matera of Ultimate Guitar deemed the album a slight departure ; he wrote that while the pace was slowed down, it " didn't sacrifice any of the heaviness inherent in Slayer's music.

Doug and Duane wrote a song called " What About Love ". Terry Bozzio replaced Ward as drummer for 1998's Zoom album, and David Henderson ( as " Holmes Jones ") took over on drums for 2001's Normal as the Next Guy and Live at the Rock N Roll Funhouse albums.

Novelist William McCranor Henderson wrote about his attempts to learn the Elvis trade in, I, Elvis: Confessions of a Counterfeit King.

This argument was developed in the 20th century by Professor Archibald Henderson of the University of North Carolina, who, beginning in 1916, wrote numerous articles on the subject.

Sharp later wrote to Henderson with the following insightful description of what he had found,

Lawrence Joseph Henderson wrote an equation, in 1908, describing the use of carbonic acid as a buffer solution.

In 1913, the chemist Lawrence Joseph Henderson ( 1878 – 1942 ) wrote The Fitness of the Environment, one of the first books to explore concepts of fine tuning in the Universe.

In 2000 his friend, the former British Ambassador to the United States, Sir Nicholas Henderson, wrote:

Placing emphasis on their support for the establishment, they even wrote to Labour Party Home Secretary Arthur Henderson in 1924 telling him that the group was at his disposal if he wished to deploy them against picket lines during industrial unrest, an offer to which Henderson did not respond.

Ernest Henderson wrote that it was " one of the few actual treatises of the middle ages.

Australian composer Moya Henderson wrote the opera Lindy to a libretto by Judith Rodriguez.
