Heir revitalized and opened large portions of the post-Empire EU ( such as the very name of the former capital of the Empire, " Coruscant "), and also introduced some of the most beloved EU characters: Talon Karrde, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, and Gilad Pellaeon.
