Eschatological passages are found in many places, especially Isaiah, Daniel, Matthew 24, Matthew 25, and the Book of Revelation.

Simple accounting is mentioned in the Christian Bible ( New Testament ) in the Book of Matthew, in the Parable of the Talents.

The Book of Chronicles is alluded to, though not directly quoted, in the New Testament ( Hebrews 5: 4 ; Matthew 12: 42 ; 23: 35 ; Luke 1: 5 ; 11: 31, 51 ).

Benedict XI was the author of a volume of sermons and commentaries on the Gospel of Matthew, the Psalms, the Book of Job, and the Book of Revelation.
