Styne established his own dance band, which brought him to the notice of Hollywood, where he was championed by Frank Sinatra and where he began a collaboration with lyricist Sammy Cahn, with whom he wrote many songs for the movies, including " It's Been a Long, Long Time " (# 1 for 3 weeks for Harry James and His Orchestra in 1945 ), " Five Minutes More ," and the Oscar-winning " Three Coins in the Fountain ".

Propelled by the success of their first single " It's Been Awhile ", the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 Album charts, selling 716, 000 albums in its first week.

The album spawned five hit singles: " It's Been Awhile " ( which hit the Billboard Top 10 ), " Fade " ( which has been featured on a number of movie soundtracks and television shows ), " Outside ", " For You ", and the acoustic ballad " Epiphany ".

" It's Been Awhile " spent a total of 16 and 14 weeks on top of the modern and mainstream rock charts, respectively, making it one of the highest joint numbers of all time.

In early November 2005, Staind released the limited edition 2-CD / DVD set of Chapter V. The set included several rarities and fan favorites — music videos ; a complete, 36-page booklet with exclusive artwork ; an audio disc with an acoustic rendition of " This is Beetle "; the original, melodic rendition of " Reply "; the previously released B-side singles " Novocaine " and " Let It Out "; and live versions of " It's Been Awhile " and " Falling ", among many others.

As detailed by his wife in It's Been a Good Life, Asimov intended to write a sequel, but his attempts were fruitless.

According to his widow Janet Asimov ( in her biography of Isaac, It's Been a Good Life ), he had no idea how to continue after Foundation and Earth, so he started writing the prequels.

There were membership cards with by-laws and ties ; the password was a favorite phrase of Kovacs '-" It's Been Real ".

The two also recorded together several times, including a 1945 number-one hit, " It's Been a Long, Long Time.

Such songs include " This Seat's Been Taken ", " Oh, Wow, It's You ", " Come Back Baby ", and " Rikki Don't Lose That Number ".

Originally active from 1985 to 1996, the band have had consistent commercial and critical success in Australia and New Zealand and international chart success in two phases, beginning with their self-titled debut album, Crowded House, which reached number twelve on the US Album Chart in 1987 and provided the Top Ten hits, " Don't Dream It's Over " and " Something So Strong ".

Although they never replicated their earlier success, the group did manage to score a few hits with " It's So Nice ( To Have You Home )" ( 1976 ), " I Wanna Go Back " ( 1977 ) and " Anthem ( One Day in Every Week )" ( 1978 ).

Sugar Ray's 2003 effort In the Pursuit of Leisure, and the first single from that album, " Mr. Bartender ( It's So Easy )", received a lukewarm reception.

However, sitcoms made by It's a Laugh Productions, such as That's So Raven, use laugh tracks.

As his singing career failed to take off, despite 14 singles being released, the first being the Pop-Soul styled " Don't Get Off The Train " on Fontana TF 562 released in April 1965 and two in 1967-68, " So Much Love " and " It's Only Love " made the UK Top 40 on MGM, he stopped singing and concentrated on radio presenting.
