James Bacque ( born 19 May 1929 ) is a Canadian novelist, publisher and book editor.

Canadian historian James Bacque estimated the total number of deaths to approximately one million, and a mortality rate of 30 %.

The book Other Losses by James Bacque ( ISBN 1-55168-191-9 ) alleges that General Dwight Eisenhower ordered the mistreatment of German prisoners of war who were detained in American-run POW camps after World War II.

In his 1989 book Other Losses, James Bacque claimed that Allied Supreme Commander Dwight Eisenhower deliberately caused the death of 790, 000 German captives in internment camps through disease, starvation and cold from 1944 to 1949.

James Carney and Martin Puhvel also agree with this “ Hand and the Child ” contextualisation.

During the Anglo-French War ( 1627 – 1629 ), under Charles I, by 1629 the Kirkes took Quebec City, Sir James Stewart of Killeith, Lord Ochiltree planted a colony on Cape Breton Island at Baleine, Nova Scotia and Alexander ’ s son, William Alexander, 1st Earl of Stirling established the first incarnation of “ New Scotland ” at Port Royal.

Also included were two songs " sung " by the character Jimmy Thudpucker ( actually actor / singer / songwriter / producer James Allen " Jimmy " Brewer ), entitled “ Stop in the Middle ” and " I Do Believe ", also part of the " Special ".

The writer calls himself simply “ James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ .” Jesus had two apostles named James, but it is unlikely that either of these wrote the letter.

The writer of the letter of James identifies himself as “ a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ ,” in much the same way as did Jude, who introduced the letter of Jude by calling himself “ a slave of Jesus Christ, but a brother of James .” ( Jas 1: 1 ; Jude 1 ) Furthermore, the salutation of James ’ letter includes the term “ Greetings !” in the same way as did the letter concerning circumcision that was sent to the congregations.

In this latter instance it was apparently Jesus ’ brother James who spoke prominently in the assembly of “ the apostles and the older men ” at Jerusalem .— Adam Clarke, 1821, commentary on 5: 13, 22, 23.

In Luke, the author writes that Jesus “ took Peter, John and James .” According to Ricci, because Peter occupies the first position in the list, that place can be considered the position of highest importance.
