Some of those press members turned on him in the 1980s as the punk rock revolution led to widespread dismissal of the old guard of rock, Townshend attacked two of them, Julie Burchill and Tony Parsons, in the song " Jools And Jim " on his album Empty Glass after they made some derogatory remarks about Who drummer Keith Moon.
