Kenyatta was the uncle of Ngethe Njoroge, Kenya's first representative to the United Nations and the great uncle of Tom Morello, the guitarist for Rage Against the Machine.

Tikolo further enhanced his reputation as Kenya's premier batsman with 147 against Bangladesh in the 1997 ICC Trophy final.

Jaramogi Ajuma Oginga Odinga ( October 1911 – January 20, 1994 ) was a Luo Chieftain who became a prominent figure in Kenya's struggle for independence.
