He became a counsellor to the King Dost Mohammad Khan ( who died, however, on June 9, 1863 ) and later to Mohammad Azam.

His son Ardeshir became a politician and diplomat and married Princess Shahnaz Pahlavi, the daughter of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi from his first marriage to Princess Fawzia of Egypt, daughter of King Fuad I.

After the fall of the Iranian Empire, Khoday Nameh came into the possession of King Yaqub Lais and then the Samani king Nuh ordered the poet Daqiqi to complete it, but Daqiqi was killed by his slave.

Founded as a city in 1186 by King Alfonso VIII of Castile on the banks of the Jerte as a city-fortress, with the double purpose of colonizing and guarding the then south-western border of the Kingdom, it fell briefly to the Moors of Yaqub al-Mansur in 1196, being reconquered by the Christians the year after.

It was signed on 26 May 1879 by King Mohammad Yaqub Khan of Afghanistan and Sir Pierre Louis Napoleon Cavagnari of British's Government of India at a British army camp near the village of Gandomak, about seventy miles east of Kabul.

In 1973, Mohammed Daoud Khan was brought to power in a coup d ' état against the Afghan King and the Republic of Afghanistan was established.

Abdur Rahman could only succeed in subjugating Hazaras and conquering their land when he effectively utilized internal differences within the Hazara community, co-opting sold-out Hazara chiefs into his bureaucratic sales of the enslaved Hazara men, women and children in 1897, the Hazaras remained de facto slaves until King Amanullah Khan declared Afghanistan's independence in 1919.

In 1927 and 1928, King Amanullah Khan and his wife Soraya Tarzi visited Europe.

On 14 January 1929, Amanullah abdicated in favor of his brother, King Inayatullah Khan.

However, his rule was short lived and, on 17 October 1929, Habibullah Kalakani was overthrown and replaced by King Nadir Khan.

King Amanullah Khan moved to end his country's traditional isolation in the years following the Third Anglo-Afghan war.

He was soon declared King Nadir Khan.

In the early 20th century King Amanullah Khan rose to power.

King Nader Khan was assassinated in 1933 and the throne was left to his 19-year-old son, Zahir Shah, who became the long lasting King of Afghanistan.
