Judgment at Nuremberg provided key early roles for two actors who would later become prominent in TV and film during the 1960s: Werner Klemperer as Emil Hahn, one of the judges on trial, and William Shatner as Captain Byers.

Werner Klemperer ( March 22, 1920 – December 6, 2000 ) was a comedic and dramatic actor, best known for his role as Colonel Klink on the CBS television sitcom, Hogan's Heroes.
In 1993, Klemperer reprised the role of Klink in an episode of The Simpsons as Homer's guardian angel and spirit guide in the episode " The Last Temptation of Homer " ( episode # 5. 9 ).
In 2003, Stan Neumann ( Stan Neumann in French wikipedia ) directed a documentary based on Klemperer's diaries, La langue ne ment pas ( Language does not lie ), which considers the importance of Klemperer ’ s observations and the role of the witness in such situations, and reflects on how we must vigilantly observe how those in power manipulate language.
