It allows visitors of either theme park to eat all day long ( as many meals as the visitor wishes to enjoy ) from Lunch through dinner at select restaurants These include International Food & Film Festival, Mel's Drive-In, and Louie's Italian Restaurant at Universal Studios Florida and Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous, Comic Strip Cafe, and The Burger Digs at Universal's Islands of Adventure Although the selection food is limited, drinks are not included.

These restaurants are called " Mel's Original.

In addition, several local pubs and bars have improved significantly-The Leather Bottle, Halfway House, Wandle ( formerly The Puzzle ), and Mel's Cafe Bar ( the former Open Page ).

The books are written in first person from Mel's point of view and have a light, informal tone.

Facing a long spell in prison, a week of events led to Mel's escape: upon discovering that she was pregnant, Phil bailed her for £ 30, 000, but she then discovered that Lisa was responsible for shooting Phil and that both knew it had not been Steve despite her continued suspicions.

He was empathetic to his friends ( and even his enemies, such as Helen A ) and somewhat melancholic at times ( such as during Mel's departure and before his decision to eradicate the Daleks ) but now placed greater burdens upon himself in the name of protecting the universe.

Guest star Art Carney in one episode was to be the spokesperson for retail distribution of Mel's Chili (" Chili con Carney ") but backed out when he discovered Vera was a distant relative with part ownership in the venture.

The shot of Vera with the " exploding straws " was the only one used during the opening credits for the entire run of the series, with the exception of the pilot episode, which had no scenes from Mel's Diner in the opening.

In the first episode, it is revealed that Harry is a fanatic admirer of Mel's ; this was alluded to in many, many later episodes.

* Near the beginning of the first episode, Ace briefly appears wearing the Fourth Doctor's trademark scarf, and Mel's top seen in Paradise Towers.

* Liam ( James McAvoy )-a student, Mel's boyfriend in Series 1. Liam is Scottish and is often seen smoking.

* Emma Pierson as Sophie Cook, Mel's troublesome younger sister ( series 1 ).

* Melvin " Mel " Cooley ( Richard Deacon ) – the balding producer of The Alan Brady Show ( and Brady's brother-in-law ), who is constantly at odds with Buddy, who often makes insulting comments about Mel's baldness, to which Mel often responds with a simple " Yechh!

Her car breaks down on the way in Phoenix ( from a presumed engine fire, as seen in the opening credits ), and we meet her soon after she has taken a job as a waitress at Mel's Diner, on the outskirts of Phoenix.

Longford town has a number of primary schools ( for ages 4 – 12 ) and three secondary schools ( for ages 12 – 19 ): two single-sex schools, St. Mel's College, ( a Catholic boys ' school ) and Scoil Mhuire ( a Catholic girls ' school run by the Sisters of Mercy ), as well as a mixed school, ( Templemichael College, formerly known as Longford Vocational School ).

The major boys ' secondary school in Longford town, St. Mel's College, also has a long tradition in secondary schools ' football ( known as Colleges A ), winning 29 Leinster and 4 All-Ireland titles ( in the Hogan Cup ).

Meanwhile, Howard offers to help Dick repair the dollhouse but quickly the pair are glued together as their visitors, the Bledlow family ( including Mel's ex-boyfriend, Ed ), call in for Christmas lunch.

She found success at the age of 24 and enjoyed chart hits with her sister between 1986 and 1989, including a number one UK single with " Respectable ", although they had stopped performing and recording in 1987 due to Mel's illness.

The 2011 television movie Lemonade Mouth, a Disney Channel Original Movie adapted from the book of the same name by Rhode Island author Mark Peter Hughes, prominently features " Mel's Frozen Lemonade ", which the author has indicated is a take-off on Del's.

Mel's Drive-In ( not to be confused with Mel's Diner ) is an American restaurant chain founded in 1947 by Mel Weiss and Harold Dobbs in San Francisco, California.

Universal Studios built a replica of " Mel's Drive-In " on its lot, pursuant to the restaurant being used in American Graffiti -- this amusement attraction also served as a gift shop for years.

There are also a number of " Mel's " located in Northern California that share the same general American Graffiti nostalgia theme and the similarly styled Mel's logo.
