Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper has been recreated in stained glass in the Memorial Court of Honor ‘ in vibrant, glowing and indestructible colors .’ There are also a number of full-sized reproductions of other Renaissance sculptures, including Michelangelo's David and Moses.

* 1972 – Michelangelo's Pietà in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome is damaged by a vandal, the mentally disturbed Hungarian geologist Laszlo Toth.
In the 1970s, Novello started to write letters to famous people under the pen name of Lazlo Toth ( name taken from that of Laszlo Toth, a deranged man who vandalized Michelangelo's Pietà in Rome ).
