Juan Morel Campos ( May 16, 1857 – May 12, 1896 ), sometimes erroneously spelled Juan Morell Campos, was a Puerto Rican composer, considered by many to be responsible for taking the genre of danza to its highest level.
A number of actors were considered for the part including André Morell who had played Quatermass in the television version of Quatermass and the Pit.
Morell considered the not-yet-completed script, but decided to decline the offer ; the part went instead to his co-star from It Is Midnight, Dr Schweitzer, Reginald Tate.
