In the third season episode of Homicide, " Law and Disorder ", Munch was suspected by Detective Tim Bayliss of having murdered Gordon Pratt ( played by Steve Buscemi ), a Baltimore man suspected of shooting three homicide detectives, including Munch's partner Stanley Bolander who he was with at the time.

One of Munch's younger sisters was diagnosed with mental illness at an early age.

Like Watkins ' other films, Edvard Munch uses a docudrama approach ; scenes from Munch's life are re-enacted by a large cast ( mostly Norwegian non-professional actors ), but there is also a voiceover narration by Watkins, and there are moments when the characters speak directly to camera, as if being interviewed about their own lives or their opinions of Munch.

Lanning provided every character voice for Abe's Oddysee alone but was later joined by other Oddworld Inhabitants crew members to voice characters in Abe's Exoddus, Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath but with Lanning still voicing the majority of the characters.
