In January 2011, Newton-John began filming A Few Best Men in Australia with director Stephan Elliott in the role of mother of bride.

A $ 5 million Broadway musical adaptation of the same name began previews on May 23, 2007, and opened ( with Olivia Newton-John and John Farrar in attendance ) on July 10, 2007 starring Kerry Butler as Kira, Cheyenne Jackson as Sonny and Tony Roberts as Danny.

Others, like John Denver, Olivia Newton-John, The Eagles, Faron Young, Willie Nelson, Dottie West, Alabama, Eddie Rabbitt, Ronnie Milsap and Anne Murray began successful in Country but made the crossover to pop music.

The title track, performed by both Newton-John and ELO, is ELO's only song to top the singles chart in the United Kingdom.

Hoffs was actually naked when she recorded the song, after being convinced by Sigerson that Olivia Newton-John got her amazing performances by recording everything while naked.

At fourteen Newton-John formed a short-lived all-girl group, Sol Four, with three classmates often performing in a coffee shop owned by her brother-in-law.

Newton-John was recruited for the group Toomorrow formed by American producer Don Kirshner, who was also the music consultant for the earliest recordings of the Monkees.

Burned by her Toomorrow experience and concerned that she was too old to play a high school senior ( she turned 29 during the latter 1977 filming ), Newton-John insisted on a screen test with the film's co-star, John Travolta.

Newton-John became a pioneer in the nascent music video industry by recording a video album for Physical featuring videos of all the album's tracks and three of her older hits.

The series featured five original songs written and composed by Newton-John specifically for the show.

The title track and " I Can't Go for That ( No Can Do )" were nearly consecutive Number 1 hits, separated only by the ten-week stay at Number 1 by the monster hit " Physical " by Olivia Newton-John.

The Sydney concert included, Coldplay featuring John Farnham, Eskimo Joe, Hoodoo Gurus, Icehouse, Jet, Josh Pyke, The Presets, Wolfmother, You Am I, Architecture in Helsinki, Marcia Hines, Taylor Swift, and Barry Gibb with Olivia Newton-John.

Its fast rhythm made Stannard remember the scene where John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John perform " You're the One That I Want " in Grease.

In 1998, Newton-John released a new version of " I Honestly Love You " from her album Back with a Heart, which featured Babyface on background vocals, and reached number sixty-seven on the Billboard Hot 100, her first U. S. charted single in six years.

He has recently toured with Olivia Newton-John as an instrumentalist and vocalist performing John Travolta's part with Newton-John on her No. 1 Grease hit, " You're The One That I Want ", as well as backing vocals.
