Ogre had toured extensively with Martin Atkins ' industrial supergroup Pigface since 1991, and toured with them again in 1995 after leaving Skinny Puppy.

Jourgensen and Ogre had toured together with Ministry ( Ogre can be seen and heard on the In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up video and CD ).

The band toured in 2001 to support the release of their debut album Welt ; the live band consisted of Nivek Ogre, Tim Skold ( bass ), cEvin Key ( drums and keyboards ), Loki der Quaeler ( keyboards ), and William Morrison ( guitar ).

Wargames also diversified in subject, with the first science-fiction wargame ( Galactic Warfare, published in the UK by Davco ) appearing in 1973 and one of the longest lasting and most successful ( Star Fleet Battles, published by Task Force Games ) appearing in 1979 ; and in size with both microgames such as Steve Jackson's Ogre, and " monster games " appearing during the decade.

Initially envisioned as an experimental side project by cEvin Key while he was in the new wave band Images In Vogue, Skinny Puppy evolved into a full-time project with the addition of vocalist Nivek Ogre.

Key had already created the name of the project and the concept of music from a " dog's eye view " when Ogre joined, and it was with this idea that they recorded their first self-released cassette Back & Forth in 1984, with help from Dave " Rave " Ogilvie.

Ogre struck up a friendship with Ministry's Al Jourgensen, and joined Ministry and some of its side projects on their live tours.

Ogre was restrained in a stage piece called " The Chair of No Cares " and injected with various substances, then prowled the stage on large metal stilts.

The stage show of its accompanying tour in North America was built around a detailed narrative that involved Ogre interacting with a backing film, a " virtual reality " machine, a bleeding crucifix, and a large, rotating device called " The Tree of No Cares " from which dangled severed heads and pornographic magazines.

Ogre, Key, and Goettel signed a contract with American Recordings and moved to Malibu, California, in 1993 to record The Process, a concept album inspired by 1960s cult The Process Church of The Final Judgment, with Roli Mosimann producing.

In 1994, Key and Goettel returned to Vancouver with the master tapes, but Ogre remained in Los Angeles and quit Skinny Puppy in June 1995.

During the Process era, a loose-knit art / philosophy collective also known as The Process was formed, with early contributions from Ogre and Genesis P-Orridge, among others.

Ogre and Mark Walk also took part, contributing a breakcore remix of " Dig It " and an updated version of Remissions " Smothered Hope " with new vocals by Ogre.

According to a news posting on the official Skinny Puppy website, the band's next studio album was originally slated for release in October 2009, but the release of this album has since been delayed due to insolvency issues with the SPV label ( thus leading to Ogre naming the 2009 tour the " In Solvent See " tour ).

On-stage theatrics included Ogre being suspended from racks and cables, play with a hangman's noose, Key cutting steel with an angle grinder, and mock executions of Ogre and George H. W.

Famous sporting personalities are parodied as well, with the most famous ( and oldest ) coach in Blood Bowl's background being Tomolandry the Undying ( Tom Landry ), and one of the most recently added stars being the Ogre thrower, Brick Far ' th ( Brett Favre ).

Ogre has been involved with many industrial music acts such as KMFDM, Rx, Pigface, PTP, the Tear Garden, the Revolting Cocks, Ministry, and his side project ohGr.

Ogre and Mark Walk also contributed several tracks to the Descent II game soundtrack.

In addition to Atkins, a ten piece touring line-up was formed, consisting of Chris Connelly ( keyboards and vocals ), Nivek Ogre ( vocals and keyboards ), Joe Kelly ( vocals and backing vocals ) and guitarists Mike Scaccia, Terry Roberts, and William Tucker, with Jourgensen, Barker and Rieflin serving as the groups core members.

Key and Ogre, already active in a number of other projects, went their separate ways, reuniting for a one-off Skinny Puppy concert at the Doomsday Festival in Dresden, Germany, in 2000.

Key and Ogre opened for Chris & Cosey on their 1985 Canadian tour as Hell ' O ' Death Day ; some of this material appeared on later Skinny Puppy releases.

Ogre, Key, Mark Walk and various guests, including Danny Carey of Tool and Wayne Static of Static-X, recorded the band's ninth studio album, The Greater Wrong of the Right, released in 2004 on Synthetic Symphony, a sub-label of SPV, their European distributor since the mid-1990s.

Unus later visited Ogre at their Mt Charteris base.

Ogre has also stated the opinion Worlock " rivals Killing Game " as one of their best songs.

However their peaceful life is disrupted when Jun begins to feel the encroaching presence of Ogre.

While exploring their new headquarters, the Thunderbolts discovered Ogre.

They're chased off by Ogre, and forced to make their way across town back to their hotel in their underwear.

With a combination of their weapons, Rohan and the others destroyed the Ogre.

The Ogre Kingdoms book expanded the history and character of the Ogres and they can now be fielded as a single army of their own, although the option to use them as mercenaries in other armies remained.

In their myths it ate many of the inhabitants of the Ogre Kingdoms and is said to have passed through the centre of the world ( it appears that another Great Maw exists in the sea on the other side of the world, in the form of a giant whirlpool that sucks in passing ships ).

In the Warhammer Fantasy war game, Butchers serve as an Ogre army's magic user, utilizing " gut magic " known as the Lore of the Great Maw against their foes by augmenting his fellow warrior's strength.

They may wield exotic weapons or other equipment that they have picked up during their travels, which is reflected by having the associated models appear as Ninjas, Pirates, or other identifiable variations from the normal Ogre army theme.

The Warriors of Chaos can take Chaos Ogres, which have their own separate rules from the Ogres of Ogre Kingdoms.

The second ascent of Baintha Brakk was made by Urs Stöcker, Iwan Wolf, and Thomas Huber, on 21 July 2001, via the South Pillar route, following their first ascent of the subsidiary peak Ogre III ( circa ).
