Field Marshal Henry William Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey, KG, GCB, GCH, PC ( 17 May 1768 – 29 April 1854 ), styled Lord Paget between 1784 and 1812 and known as The Earl of Uxbridge between 1812 and 1815, was a British military leader and politician, now chiefly remembered for leading the charge of the heavy cavalry against d ' Erlon's column during the Battle of Waterloo.

Born at Richmond House, London, he was the son of Charles Lennox, 5th Duke of Richmond and Lennox and Lady Caroline, daughter of Field Marshal Henry Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey.

Lord Sydney married Lady Emily Paget, daughter of Field Marshal Henry Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey, on 4 August 1832.

Anglesey was the eldest son of Field Marshal Henry Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey and his first wife, Lady Caroline Elizabeth Villiers, third daughter of George Villiers, 4th Earl of Jersey.

It continued in the crown from the time of Richard III's marriage with Anne Neville, until Queen Mary granted it to William Lord Paget, in whose family it continued more than a century ; after which, it passed, by purchase, to Sir Humphrey Winch, in 1670 ; to Lord Falkland in 1686 ; to Sir James Etheridge in 1690 ; to Sir John Guise in 1718 ; and to Sir William Clayton in 1736.
