On April 7, 1986 Liddy appeared at WrestleMania II as a guest judge for a boxing match between Mr. T ( with Joe Frazier, The Haiti Kid ) versus Roddy Piper ( with Bob Orton and Lou Duva ).

The NWA also lost top stars " Rowdy " Roddy Piper, Greg " The Hammer " Valentine, Jack Brisco, Jerry Brisco, Ricky " The Dragon " Steamboat, and " Cowboy " Bob Orton to the WWF during that same time.

Sammartino teamed with Paul Orndorff in his matches against Piper, while Piper would tag with his " bodyguard ", Ace " Cowboy " Bob Orton.

The main event was a tag-team match between the WWF Champion Hulk Hogan and Mr. T, accompanied by Jimmy Snuka against the team of Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff, who were accompanied by Cowboy Bob Orton.

Piper challenged Vince McMahon to a street fight later in the evening only to have Randy Orton come out to fight against, then shortly after Kofi Kingston came out to stop Randy's assault on Piper.

On the November 15, 2010 episode of Raw, Piper quickly turned face during a return of Piper's Pit telling John Cena to do the right thing by calling the WWE Championship match at Survivor Series between Wade Barrett and Randy Orton down the middle.

Another segment featured Piper and Orton bringing The Haiti Kid onto the set and shave his head Mr. T-style on the Pit set.
