Specimens of Pisanello's work as a painter still exist in Rome, Venice, Verona, Pistoia and two in the National Gallery, London ( The Vision of Saint Eustace and The Virgin and Child with Saint George and Saint Anthony Abbot ).

Pisanello's Madonna of the Quail, now in the Museo di Castelvecchio in Verona, is signed by " Antonius Pisanus ".

Pisanello's love of drawing horses probably finds its origin in this relationship ; but as there is so much unknown of his life, this attribution by Vasari is not reliable and may only be a legend.

Among contemporary denominations of the Latter Day Saint movement, the First Vision is typically viewed as a significant ( often the most significant ) event in the latter day restoration of the Church of Christ.

" In 1980, this Church Historian noted that he had " systematically brought to the attention " of hundreds of church members " the substantive differences in half a dozen accounts of the First Vision " and expressed his satisfaction that RLDS scholars, " deeply moved and augmented by the presence of the wondrously diverse and conflicting accounts of the First Vision ," could " begin the exciting work of developing a mythology of Latter Day Saint beginnings.

This " First Vision " is considered to be the founding event of the Latter Day Saint movement.

The altarpiece of the next chapel has a Trinity with Saint Jerome and two saints ( c. 1455 ) by Andrea del Castagno, who also painted the mural of The Vision of St. Julian in the next chapel, called the Feroni chapel.

The centre of this altar-piece, by Jan Mabuse, represents Saint Luke the Evangelist, patron of painters, portraying the Virgin ; the side pieces contain the Martyrdom of Saint Vitus and the Vision of St John the Evangelist in Patmos.
