Having revisited some of them in passing in Glue, Welsh brought most of the Trainspotting characters back for a sequel, Porno, in 2002.

Farrell and Perkins formed another band, Porno for Pyros, and had some success with their two albums, Porno For Pyros ( 1993 ) and Good God's Urge ( 1996 ); meanwhile, Avery and Navarro formed Deconstruction and put out a self-titled one-off album in 1994.

Dave Navarro and the Red Hot Chili Peppers's Flea joined Porno for Pyros to record " Hard Charger " in 1997 for Howard Stern's movie, Private Parts soundtrack which led to a brief Jane's Addiction Relapse tour with Flea replacing Avery as bassist, after he declined an invitation to rejoin the band.

With Flea busy with the Chili Peppers, Porno for Pyros bassist Martyn LeNoble was brought in to fill the gap.

On April 11, 2009 they had a birthday bash for Perry that included members of Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros on the same stage ; the bash was nicknamed Perrypalooza.

In 1996, Watt contributed bass lines to two songs on Porno for Pyros ' second album, Good God's Urge.

Lush was eagerly added to the 2nd Lollapalooza roster in 1992 by its organizer, Perry Farrell, the Jane's Addiction / Porno for Pyros frontman, who personally requested Lush for his new tour program.

A benefit concert to help with Norwood's legal expenses featured Porno for Pyros, Primus, Tool, and Alice in Chains.

In late February 2008, Quick Stop Entertainment premiered a parody video entitled " I'm Fucking Seth Rogen " as a promotion for Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

The band released two studio albums, Porno for Pyros ( 1993 ) and Good God's Urge ( 1996 ), before parting ways in 1998, after guitarist Peter DiStefano was diagnosed with cancer.

Following the demise of the critically and commercially successful Jane's Addiction, frontman Perry Farrell and drummer Stephen Perkins formed Porno for Pyros after acquiring guitarist Peter DiStefano and bass player Martyn LeNoble.

The name has also been connected through song lyrics to the LA riots which occurred in the band's hometown around the time of Porno for Pyros inception.

Prior to releasing their eponymous first album, Porno for Pyros embarked on a nationwide tour to support the new band.

On several tour stops Porno for Pyros played " Mountain Song ," a popular Jane's Addiction tune, and was a foreshadowing of the later Jane's Addiction reunion efforts.

Other alternative acts to pursue psychedelia from the 1990s included The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Porno For Pyros and Super Furry Animals.

The Jane's Addiction / Porno for Pyros book Whores ( by Brendan Mullen ) states that a third Porno for Pyros album was penned but never recorded.

In 2008, " Smalltown Boy " was used in the sexual comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

On 10 September 2009, Robert Carlyle revealed that Boyle was " edging closer " to making Porno.

Bed Partner ( 1988 ) was the last release in the venerable 17-year Roman Porno series.

One of the group's members could draw, so they gave the company a graphic design wing called Porno Graphics, aka Pore-Know Graphics, aka Poor No Graphics, aka Porneaugraphics, etc., and the whole operation was run out of their new two-story building at 18 Sycamore St. in the Mission District.

This film was also recently followed by the second film not to take place within the View Askewniverse, the controversial, Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
