The Troggs feature in a monochrome promo clip for their 1967 / 68 hit " Love Is All Around ", showing singer Reg Presley's love affair with a girl intercut with concert footage and psychedelic elements.

Mann and Lowe had been a successful songwritng team prior to the start of label, with Mann writing lyrics and Lowe the music ; their biggest hit prior to starting the label was Elvis Presley's "( Let Me Be Your ) Teddy Bear ".

Presley's remake of the title song introduced it to an audience too young to remember Bing Crosby's original hit version.

During one notable Tonight Show performance, Kinison delivered what began as a straightforward version of Elvis Presley's " Are You Lonesome Tonight?

" In 1957 he composed " Mean Woman Blues " for Presley's 1957 motion picture soundtrack, Loving You that was released on the record album of the same name as well as on Side 2 of a four-song EP record.

After completing Loving You in 1957, Elvis Presley's second film, Scott retired from the screen.

Their early association ( 1957 – 62 ) produced many of the most powerful rockers and poignant ballads in Presley's repertoire, including " Got a Lot o ' Livin ' to Do ", " Follow That Dream ", " Rock-A-Hula Baby ", " Crawfish ", " As Long As I Have You ", " Pocketful of Rainbows " and " Fame And Fortune ".

* 1973 – Elvis Presley's concert Aloha from Hawaii is broadcast live via satellite, and sets a record as the most watched broadcast by an individual entertainer in television history.

A memorial gravestone for Presley's twin brother, Jesse Garon, is also at the site.

" Heartbreak Hotel " is composed of an eight-bar blues progression, and features major echo during the entire track, in an attempt to follow the characteristic of Presley's Sun recordings.

The town is probably most famous as a base during Elvis Presley's early career, and also as the town in which Johnny Cash wrote Walk the Line.

It is the first broadcast of its kind since Elvis Presley's " Aloha from Hawaii " special in 1973.

It is said that Your Hit Parade was nearly cancelled after many weeks of unsuccessful attempts by big band singer Snooky Lanson to perform Elvis Presley's " Hound Dog " in 1956.

* March 6-Elvis Presley's 14th motion picture, Kissin ' Cousins is released to theaters.

The picture is surrounded by typography deliberately similar to Elvis Presley's debut album.

Among other things, this gives him control of Elvis Presley's name and likeness in the US ; this however does not include Britain ( where the Elvis image is in the public domain ), Europe and most other countries in the world.

Presley's own mother even commented about Adams, " He sure is a pushy little fellow ".

Twitty is best remembered today for his long career as a country music star, but in the late 1950s, he was one of Presley's rock ' n ' roll rivals.

It is held in early January to celebrate Presley's birthday and to boost tourism.

Keough is a bass guitar player in Presley's band, and also serves as her musical mentor.

A reprise of " Love Me Tender " was recorded on October 1 and is heard at the end of the film ; this short track was not released until after Presley's death.
