Ben Nicholson was born on 10 April 1894 in Denham, Buckinghamshire, Nicholson was the son of the painters Sir William Nicholson and Mabel Pryde, and the brother of artist Nancy Nicholson, architect Christopher Nicholson and Anthony Nicholson.

Born Annie Mary Pryde Nicholson, she was the only daughter of the artists Sir William Nicholson and Mabel Pryde.

Alongside the 1981 Spider-Man animated series, Amazing Friends was later re-aired in the late 1980s as part of the 90 minute Marvel Action Universe ( not to be confused with 1977's The Marvel Action Universe ), a syndicated series that was used as a platform for old and new Marvel-produced animated fare ( the newer programming featured RoboCop: The Animated Series, Dino-Riders and on occasion “ X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men ”, which was intended to serve as a pilot for a potential X-Men animated series ).

In an e-mail to Kitty Pryde, Nick Fury told her that Elektra had survived, but was missing and was probably in Eastern Europe, creating her own militia group, which she intended to be her own version of The Hand.

There she experiences visions which warn her of something bad to come, and an alternate version of Kitty Pryde appears from nowhere with no warning.

She later returns to help the X-Men save victims of a car accident, after which she is enrolled at the Xavier Institute and assigned a room with Rachel Summers and Kitty Pryde.

An older Kitty Pryde transfers her mind into the younger, present-day Kitty Pryde, who brings the X-Men to prevent a fatal moment in history which triggers anti-mutant hysteria.

He provided the voice of Professor X in Pryde of the X-Men ( which is interesting as he previously provided the voice for X-Men nemesis Magneto during the character's appearance in the 1970s Fantastic Four cartoon ).

David has only recently met Storm in this universe and has a deep relationship with Kitty Pryde ( unlike the animated series ).

Franklin even kept his membership of Power Pack a secret from his own parents: when he appeared before them in image form ( see above ) he would stick to ordinary clothes, only appearing in his Power Pack outfit before other heroes such as Kitty Pryde.

The only exception to this has been Kitty Pryde, who can still be cut by the Soulsword even when Pryde is using her phasing power to become intangible.

Additionally, Kitty Pryde has ( within the pages of Ultimate Spider-Man ) constructed a costume visually similar to the 616 Hellcat's, differing in color and mask design only.

The lineup of characters in the game is very close to those appearing in X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men, the only animated incarnation of the X-Men existing prior to the X-Men animated series on Fox.

This is seemingly part of a three pronged plan, alongside Gambit and Sunfire in Providence who attack Cable, and Exodus with his new group of Acolytes who ambush the Xavier Institute while only Kitty Pryde, Colossus, and the New X-Men are home.

Although an X-Men character for years, Nightcrawler did not get his own comic book title ( written and drawn by Cockrum ) until November 1985, when Nightcrawler, along with Lockheed, accidentally traveled to several alternate dimensions, meeting strange beings such as the Bamfs ( the Bamfs originally appeared in a story fellow X-Man Kitty Pryde told Illyana as a bedtime story in X-Men # 153 ).

These profiles are presented with the five issues in the Secret War hardback and paperback collections, and include a list of heroes that Fury recommended be sent in if his stealth attack failed and a large-scale assault was required ( Hawkeye, Spider-Woman, Punisher, Ms. Marvel, War Machine, the Hulk and the Sentry ), and a list of heroes who Fury contemplated including in the original mission but rejected for various reasons ( Cyclops relied on his team too much, Fury had doubts about Doc Samson's ability to come through in a crunch, the Falcon lacked the right kind of power, Iron Man would ask too many questions even without the issue of bringing in someone who relied that heavily on technology against the Tinkerer, the Thing was too visually distinctive, Kitty Pryde lacked the right mentality, and Fury couldn't trust Mystique or the Purple Man ).

The X-Men themselves, had previously guest starred in several episodes of Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, although that particular series isn't necessarily in the same continuity as " Pryde of the X-Men ".

Foils are used on wind-surfboards through design development from Neil Pryde Maui, inventors of hydrofoil sailing " windsurfing " boards.

Recently, he has shared some kisses with Kitty Pryde.

Iceman has begun a relationship with Kitty Pryde.

In X3, his relationship with Rogue appears to be deteriorating, strained by their inability to have physical contact and by his close friendship with Kitty Pryde.

Hence, the passing of time was more discernible in the very early years, such as the graduation of Spider-Man ; and what started as children or teenaged characters, such as Kitty Pryde, Franklin Richards, Valeria Richards, Power Pack, or the New Mutants are all allowed to age at wildly shifting rates ( in the second case even backwards at times ), whereas surrounding characters somewhat dependent on a certain age limit do not change at all.

It planned to take over the world, but was stopped by Wolverine, Cyclops and Kitty Pryde.

When Cyberiad traps the newest X-Man Kitty Pryde, he locks her in a room made of vibranium, leaving her helpless.

Additions to the X-Men during this time were Kitty Pryde / Shadowcat, Dazzler, Forge, Longshot, Psylocke, Rogue, Rachel Summers / Phoenix, and Jubilee.

In the aftermath of the Schism series, the fallout between Wolverine and Cyclops will lead to the revival and rebuilding of the original X-Mansion by Wolverine, with support from Kitty Pryde, Iceman, Rogue, and Beast.

" In developing Buffy, Whedon was greatly inspired by Kitty Pryde, a character from the pages of the superhero comic X-Men.

Johnny Storm and Kitty Pryde are also said to be members of the team.

The village was identified as the hometown of Kitty Pryde in the X-Men comics.

The current Olympic class, the Neil Pryde RS: X was used for the first time in the 2008 Summer Olympics.

X-Men was Marvel Comics ' second attempt at an animated X-Men TV series after the pilot X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men was not picked up — though it was broadcast multiple times between 1989 and 1992.

For a time, Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler express some resentment over the X-Men's failing to contact them after their supposed deaths.

Afterwards they go to a local bar, where they discuss the recent loss of Kitty Pryde and the destruction of the X-Men.
