At A Matter of Respect, Van Dam and Sabu were forced to face each other in a tag team match as they both teamed up with ECW World Tag Team Champions.
Van Dam teamed with the one half of the champions, Lance Storm, while Sabu teamed with the other half, Chris Candido.
