The attainment of nirvanic liberation ( mokṣa ), by contrast with empty or selfless phenomena, is said to open up a realm of " utter bliss, joy, permanence, stability, eternity ", in which the Buddha is " fully peaceful " and " immovable " ( acala ) like a mountain.

Nikaya At one time in Savatthi, the venerable Radha seated himself and asked of the Blessed Lord Buddha: “ Anatta, anatta I hear said, Venerable.
