In the joke comic Fred Hembeck Destroys the Marvel Universe, the X-Men are killed by silent, black, man-sized " Ninja Sentinels ".

There are several versions of the Sentinels in this game:

* In X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse, the Sentinels are shown assisting with the evacuation after Apocalypse devastates New York City.

The latter often use the robots known as Sentinels as weapons.
