Among the famous local cuisine is Seremban Siew Pau () that is well known throughout the country.

Tun Tan Siew Sin (; 21 May 1916 – 17 March 1988 ) was Malaya's ( later Malaysia's ) first Minister of Commerce and Industry, Finance Minister for 15 years, and president of the Malayan Chinese Association ( MCA, later Malaysian Chinese Association ).

On June 23, 2007, ending weeks of speculation, Ma formally introduced Siew to be his vice-presidential running mate.

Vincent C. Siew ( Siew Wan-chang ) () ( born 3 January 1939 ) was the Vice President of the Republic of China from 2008 to 2012.

Born in Chiayi City in the then Japanese colony of Taiwan, Siew graduated from the Department of Diplomacy at National Chengchi University in 1961, and received a master's degree from the Graduate Institute of International Law and Diplomacy at National Chengchi University in 1965.
