The band were also often described as Slash's solo or side project though Slash maintained that they were a band, stating " everybody wrote, everybody had equal input even though I had my name on it.

In August 2000, Kelli left Warrant to tour with Slash's Snakepit and was replaced by Billy Morris.

His training was hampered by a broken shoulder, and Cox eventually dropped out of Slash's training school.

" Riff Raff " is frequently played on Guns N ' Roses / Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash's iheartradio channel, " Slash FM ", citing it as one of his favorite AC / DC songs.

Since then he has kept working as an engineer and producer, reuniting with Aerosmith for three more albums and producing albums for artists such as Supertramp, Zebra, Clutch, Local H, Slash's Snakepit ( solo-project of ex-Guns N ' Roses guitarist Slash ) and in 2006 the return of the New York Dolls.
