Other species such as the oceanic Pantropical Spotted Dolphin, Common Dolphin and Spinner Dolphin travel in large groups of hundreds of individuals.

The Atlantic Spotted Dolphin ( Stenella frontalis ) is a dolphin found in the Gulf Stream of the North Atlantic Ocean.

The Atlantic Spotted Dolphin was first described by Cuvier in 1828.

The coloring of the Atlantic Spotted Dolphin varies enormously as they grow.

Several factors contribute to the Spotted Owl's variable reproductive success.

Predominant prey is likely to contribute to differences in Spotted Owl habitat selection across their range, since Spotted Owl prey species occur in a variety of habitats.

Gambel oak's contribution to canopy cover, canopy layering, and prey habitat in mixed-conifer-hardwood and pine-oak communities likely influences its selection by Mexican Spotted Owls.

In some portions of its range, much of the Spotted Owl's diet is composed of several other mammal species.

The Northern Spotted Owl is in rapid decline with about a 50 % annual population loss along the northern edge of its range ( northern Washington state and south-western British Columbia ).

In common with other species in its genus the Atlantic Spotted is a gregarious creature.

At its northern portion was the Arapaho camp of Little Raven, Big Mouth, Yellow Bear, and Spotted Wolf, a total of about 180 lodges.

The Spotted Dove ( Spilopelia chinensis ) is a small and somewhat long-tailed pigeon which is a common resident breeding bird across its native range on the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

The Spotted Dove in its native range in Asia is found across a range of habitats including woodland, scrub, farmland and habitation.
