Cardigan Bay () is a large inlet of the Irish Sea, indenting the west coast of Wales between Bardsey Island, Gwynedd in the north, and Strumble Head, Pembrokeshire at its southern end.

Strumble Head () is a rocky headland in north Pembrokeshire, Wales.

It gives its name to Strumble Head Lighthouse ( on the island of Ynys Meicel ) and Strumble VOR, a way point in many trans-atlantic flights.

Strumble Head is one of the best sites in Britain to view cetaceans, particularly the porpoise which can be spotted in the tidal races around the headland with modest binoculars.

< p > The " Bardsea " of the Pile of Fowdrey was wrecked off Strumble Head on 3 October 1763 laden with a cargo of iron and copper from Wicklow bound for Chepstow under its Master, John Kennel.

The whole coast is served by a number of dedicated walkers ' bus services, which operate over the entire length of the path ; these include the Puffin Shuttle, the Coastal Cruiser, the Celtic Coaster, St David's Peninsula Shuttle Service, the Strumble Shuttle, and the Poppit Rocket.

Those familiar with transatlantic aviation may recognize the name from Strumble VOR.

London ATC requested Aer Lingus Flight EI 362 ( flying Dublin-Bristol ) to search west of Strumble.

St. Anthony's Lighthouse at St. Anthony's Head near Falmouth, Cornwall was featured in the title sequence of the children's live action puppet television program series Fraggle Rock created by Jim Henson.

Admiralty Head Lighthouse is located in this area, on the grounds of Fort Casey State Park.

There are at least 86 Oregon state parks along the Pacific coast, including the Heceta Head Lighthouse.

The Pencarrow Head Lighthouse was the first permanent lighthouse built in New Zealand.

The light was decommissioned in 1935 when it was replaced by the Baring Head Lighthouse.

Historic buildings on the National Register of Historic Places in the Florence area include the Edwin E. Benedict House, a deteriorating house on the Siuslaw River that is said to have been Ken Kesey's inspiration for the Stamper House in his novel Sometimes a Great Notion, Heceta Head Lighthouse and Keepers Quarters, Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park Historic District, the Siuslaw River Bridge, and the William Kyle and Sons Building in Old Town.

There are several parks and other sites managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department near Florence, including Darlingtonia State Natural Site and Heceta Head Lighthouse at Devil's Elbow to the north, and Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park to the south.

It is also the home of the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Nye Beach, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, and Rogue Ales.

The Heceta Head Lighthouse, located south of Yachats, holds a Victorian Christmas Open House each December.

Eddystone Lighthouse is on the treacherous Eddystone Rocks, south west of Rame Head, United Kingdom.

Fraserburgh thereafter remained relatively quiet until 1787 when Fraserburgh Castle was converted to Kinnaird Head Lighthouse, Scotland's first mainland lighthouse.
