On the strength of these releases and constant playing in local clubs and schools, the band established a fan base in the Chicago area, but was unable to break into the mainstream until an earlier song, the power ballad " Lady " ( from Styx II ), began to earn some radio time, first on WLS in Chicago and then nationwide.

In early April 2011, it was announced that Styx would join up with Yes for a “ Progressive U. S. Tour ” that began on July 4, 2011.

A tour in support of the album began on 27 March 2008 in Greensboro, North Carolina, with Styx and REO Speedwagon joining the band on US dates.

Styx () is an American rock band that became famous for its albums from the late 1970s and early 1980s.

In 1987, A & M Records had released a compilation album of Styx tracks as volume 15 of their " Classics " series, but since A & M did not own the rights to the original recording of " Lady " ( which had been released by Wooden Nickel Records through a distribution deal with RCA Records ), the track could not be included on the disc.

On April 20, 2006, at the Community Theatre in Morristown, New Jersey, DeYoung took to the stage once again with former Styx member Glen Burtnik as part of his Lost Treasures concert series.

Shogun Assassin was edited and compiled from the first two films in the Lone Wolf and Cub series, using 12 minutes of the first film, Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance ( Kozure Ōkami: Kowokashi udekashi tsukamatsuru or Wolf with Child in Tow: Child and Expertise for Rent ), and most of Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx ( Kozure Ōkami: Sanzu no kawa no ubaguruma or Wolf with Child in Tow: Perambulator of the River of Sanzu ).
