Alva Blanchard Adams ( October 29, 1875 – December 1, 1941 ) was a Democratic politician who represented Colorado in the United States Senate from 1923 until 1924 and again from 1933 to 1941.

Senator Adams ' father, Alva Adams, served as the Governor of the State of Colorado 1887-1889, 1897 – 1899, and 1905.

Alva Adams was first appointed to the U. S. Senate to vill a vacancy during the first session of the 68th Congress.
