** The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway is merged with the Burlington Northern Railroad to form the BNSF Railway, making it one of the largest railroad mergers in U. S. history.

Freight service is provided by BNSF Railway, CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern Railway, Alabama & Tennessee River Railway, and Birmingham Southern Railroad.

Demopolis is served by several railway companies, including Norfolk Southern Railway, BNSF Railway, and the Alabama and Gulf Coast Railway.

The Bullhead City area is accessible by Interstate 40 ( via Needles or Kingman ), Amtrak ( via Needles BNSF ), Greyhound Bus Services, and Highways 95 and 93.

Kingman also is located on the Southern Transcon route of the BNSF Railway.

Hardy is served by the BNSF Railway.

Corcoran is served by the BNSF Railway, which is the successor to the Santa Fe Railway.

A second railroad was laid through Hanford in 1897, which today is the main north-south line of the BNSF Railway through the San Joaquin Valley.

Freight service is available from both the BNSF Railway and the San Joaquin Valley Railroad.

The BNSF Railway ( BNSF ) has a Maintenance of Way station and a siding that is used to store BNSF snow fighting equipment.

Rail freight is provided by BNSF and Union Pacific.

Major employment in the city is supported by the BNSF Railway ( formerly the Santa Fe Railroad ).

Escalon is located at 37 ° 47. 5 ' N 120 ° 59. 5 ' W ( 37. 7984 ,- 120. 9969 ), where State Highway 120 crosses the BNSF railroad.

The yard is still used by the BNSF Railway.

As of the closing of the Maytag plant in fall of 2004, BNSF is once again the largest private employer in Galesburg.

It is located where the BNSF Railway and the Iowa, Chicago and Eastern Railroad intersect and along Illinois Route 72.

In October 1870 the Leavenworth, Lawrence & Galveston railway was run through Humboldt ; the railway is currently a short line owned by BNSF Railway.

It was once at the junction of the BNSF and Missouri Pacific railroads, but is no longer served by either Railroad.

Hesston is serviced by a branch of the Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad operating between McPherson and Newton, where it connects to the BNSF Railway.

Oswego is served by the Union Pacific Railroad and the South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad, a shortline railroad that provides direct connections to BNSF Railways and the Kansas City Southern Railway.

It is located along the Rum River and the BNSF Railway.

This short line operates the branch line which interchanges with the BNSF.

BNSF Railway provides railroad service with a line running east-west.

The BNSF Railway has a mainline running through Riverbank and serves as the BNSF's principal line linking Northern California with the Los Angeles-Chicago mainline.

The community was established when Almon Gage sought a railroad stop on the BNSF rail line that runs through town.

A short line for BNSF Railway passes along the eastern side of town and terminates in Iola.

UP's OKT Line runs generally north-south through the city ; north of downtown, the line consists of trackage leased to BNSF.

After failed attempts from buyers wanting to purchase the line and turn it into a shortline railroad, work began on tearing down the railroad from Moberly, MO northward toward La Plata, MO where it has a connection with the BNSF Railway and from Moulton, IA southward toward La Plata, MO.

Both the cutoff and the original line are still in place today, with the cutoff forming a part of the BNSF Railway's northernmost transcontinental route.

BNSF Railway, the successor railroad to the Frisco, has a crew change point here on the line from Dallas to Tulsa.

Though most of the remnants of the old railroad infrastructure are gone, the Santa Fe, now BNSF, freight line still runs through the same course.

It lies in Section 25 of Bristol Township, on the main line of what is now the BNSF Railway alongside U. S. Route 12.

Since 1900 Cleveland has served as the junction of this line and the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe ( now the BNSF Railway ).

Union Tank Car Company has a tank repair / maintenance facility along the BNSF line on the outskirts of Cleveland off of FM 787.

The BNSF Railway serves the town and the Texas Pacifico has a lease on a TxDOT rail line, formerly the Kansas City, Texas and Orient Railroad, but it is in poor repair.

The area is also served by one BNSF line bypassing downtown from Ft. Worth to Amarillo.

While it is not as rail dependent as it once was, Arlington still maintains a rail connection with BNSF Railways via a spur line.

The line was renamed the Pacific Coast Railroad in 1916, which itself became a subsidiary, in 1951, of the Great Northern ( now part of the BNSF Railway ).

A rail spur line extends to the mine sites from the BNSF main line near Sheridan, Wyoming allows this coal to be shipped by rail to coal-fired electric generating plants all over the United States.
