Barbican is a London Underground station serving the Barbican Estate and Centre in the City of London.

* In February 2012 a London based Theatre company Improbable performed a string of shows at the Barbican Theatre London, called " The Devil & Mr Punch " which is an adaptation of the Punch & Judy story.

The principal town museum is Barbican House Museum at Lewes Castle, which hosts the Lewes Town Model as well as four galleries of Sussex archaeology.

The Dolphin Hotel is a pub on the Barbican in Plymouth, England, notable as the setting of several of the artist Beryl Cook's paintings.

The BBC SO is the associate orchestra of the Barbican Centre in London, where it gives an annual season of concerts.

The Route begins at St. Florian's Church outside the northern flank of the old city walls in the medieval suburb of Kleparz ; passes the Barbican of Kraków ( Barbakan ) built in 1499, and enters Stare Miasto through the Florian Gate.
