In Hip-Hop's Golden Age, Marley Marl was the house producer of the Juice Crew, known for The Bridge Wars, a feud with Boogie Down Productions seen as one of the earliest and most influential hip hop beefs.

Answer songs also played a part in the battle over turf in the The Bridge Wars.

Each station's resident hip-hop " mixmasters " were key figures in the Bridge Wars of the mid-1980s.

After the outbreak of the French Revolutionary Wars, Andréossy served under Napoleon Bonaparte, commanding the bridging train of the Army of Italy after June 1796, serving with distinction in the battle of the Bridge of Arcole and in the siege of Mantua.

The Bridge Wars was a hip hop rivalry during the mid-to-late 1980s and early 1990s, that arose from a dispute over the true birthplace of hip hop music and retaliation over the rejecting of a record for airplay.

The Bridge Wars originally involved The South Bronx's Boogie Down Productions, led by KRS-One, and Marley Marl's Juice Crew, hailing from Queensbridge.
