The family was Byzantine Catholic and attended St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church.

Ephesians is found in the two earliest canons, and many of the early Church Fathers ( including Clement of Rome, Ignatius, Hermas, and Polycarp ) support Paul's authorship.

In the 4th century, Jerome and Augustine of Hippo supported Paul's authorship: the Church largely agreed to include Hebrews as the fourteenth letter of Paul, and affirmed this authorship until the Reformation.

His various sculptures, which may be studied in St Paul's Cathedral ( London ), Christ Church and Pembroke College, Oxford, Bath Abbey and Bristol Cathedral, give ample testimony to Bacon's powers.
