The Dudleys were a happy family with 13 children born, among whose tutors figured John Dee, Thomas Wilson, and Roger Ascham.

In August 2005, all three former Dudleys were issued with legal notices instructing them not to use the ( WWE trademarked ) name " Dudley ".

Dudley feuded with the other members of the Dudley family ( his kayfabe half-brothers ), claiming that their comedic antics were not the way true Dudleys should act, and faced Buh Buh Ray Dudley on numerous occasions, defeating him at Ultimate Jeopardy, but losing to him at November to Remember.

Exceptions were made for Stone Cold Steve Austin, the WWF Champion ; the Dudley Boyz, who won the Tag Team Championship ; Stacy Keibler, the Dudleys ' manager ; Rob Van Dam, who at the time was the Hardcore Champion ; Christian, who at the time was the European Champion ; Immunity Battle Royal winner Test ; and Alliance commissioner William Regal, who was forced to join the " Mr. McMahon Kiss My Ass Club " to keep his job.

In late 1995, the Dudleys were joined by Dances with Dudley and Buh Buh Ray Dudley.

At the time, they were still under contract to WCW, but they successfully brawled ( with assistance from New Jack ) with the Dudleys.

" Grunge further thanked the Dudleys for house-sitting " the house that the Public Enemy built " while they were gone, and then invited everyone in attendance to join then in the ring for a post-show celebration.

Dudley Dudley was known for his deep voice and strange laugh during interviews, and had the distinction of being " the only pure Dudley "-while all the Dudleys allegedly had ( the apocryphal ) Big Daddy Dudley as a common father, Dudley Dudley was the only Dudley who had ( the equally fictitious ) Momma Dudley as a mother.

D-Von began warring with all the other Dudleys, citing that the comedy act they had been putting on was not the way " true Dudleys " should be conducting themselves.

The Dudleys: " The Most Hated Tag Team "-The Dudley Boyz and Paul Heyman discuss the time period where the Dudleys would be so hated, they would insult the fans ( including accusing a mother of teaching her daughter to perform oral sex, and calling fans epithets like " faggot " and " fat, bald motherfucker "), and start riots.

While Mysterio was Cruiserweight Champion, Spike Dudley turned heel after plowing Mysterio through a table and joined the other Dudleys before winning the Cruiserweight Title from Mysterio on the July 29 episode of SmackDown !.

The Dudley Boyz began their next rivalry with The Gangstas ( New Jack and Mustafa Saed ), which began after Dudleys defeated the Gangstas to retain the tag titles at Orgy of Violence on June 28.

The Dudleys, however, lost the tag titles to Gangstas in a steel cage weapons match at Heat Wave on July 19, 1997.

After Mustafa and Saturn parted ways with ECW, New Jack and Kronus teamed up to form The Gangstanators and beat the Dudleys for the tag title at As Good as it Gets on September 20.

Eventually, the Dudleys turned on Spike, who then became involved in the rivalry.

The Dudleys, however, powerbombed both men through flaming tables — the first time such a thing had been seen on PPV.

During this time, the Dudleys acted as enforcers of the Alliance, interfering on the behalf of Alliance mid-carders and main eventers.

He made his last appearance with WWE at ECW One Night Stand on June 12, 2005, helping the Dudleys win their tag team match.

Bradstreet became involved with the company in 1629, and in April 1630, the Bradstreets joined the Dudleys and colonial Governor John Winthrop on the fleet of ships that carried them to Massachusetts Bay.

They defended the title against the Dudleys on several occasions before losing the championship to René Duprée and Kenzo Suzuki on September 9, due to Kidman leaving London to fight by himself.

The Backseat Boyz, Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere, appeared on an episode of WWF Sunday Night Heat as " The Backseat Dudleys.

Also receiving immunity was Stacy Kiebler the manager of the Dudleys, and Tazz who was a commentator on SmackDown !.

Edge and Christian stated that instead of doing the " time-honored tradition " of shaking the hands of their opponents, they would instead do the time-honored tradition of mocking their opponents, and had four little people show up dressed as the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz, with toy ladders and tables, with a " 37 second pose " when the fake Hardys and Dudleys bowed to Edge and Christian, who stood on the table.

Upon the Dudleys departure, Gertner then became a broadcaster on ECW on TNN alongside Joey Styles.

This led to a series of matches between the teams, during which New Jack and Kronus defeated the Dudleys for the title belts at ECW's " As Good as it Gets " event on September 20, 1997 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He remained in ECW for two years before he was driven out by D-Von Dudley, who had declared war on his half-brothers for not being serious enough, and took a dim view of the comedic antics of Dudleys such as Chubby and Dances With Dudley.

The group was later expanded when the obese, slobbish Chubby Dudley and the mute, placard-wielding Sign Guy Dudley ( the result of Big Daddy Dudley's incarceration in an asylum ) began accompanying the Dudleys to ringside.

The family has long asserted connections to the Dudleys of Dudley Castle ; there is a similarity in their coats of arms, but association beyond a probable common ancestry with them has never been conclusively demonstrated.

The Dudleys began a rivalry with Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman in the summer of 1998.

At Heat Wave, however, the two Dudleys, along with Big Dick Dudley, lost to Dreamer, Sandman and Spike in a six man tag Street Fight, ending the feud.

With a brewing feud between the Dudleys and the Impact Players, ( Justin Credible and Lance Storm ) Buh Buh Ray and D-Von still had their hands full with the new team of Spike Dudley and Balls Mahoney.

After a threat to take the titles with them to WWF, Tommy Dreamer and Raven won the belts from the Dudleys, sending them to the WWF title-less.

Nowinski would feud with The Dudleys ( Bubba Ray Dudley and Spike Dudley ) through the summer.

After losing the title, The Gangstanators continued their feud with the Dudleys.
