More recently he has produced the UK band The Duke Spirit, London-based duo Helene, former Golden Virgins frontman Lucas Renney and has mixed the Mercury Prize nominated album The End Of History by Fionn Regan.

" The works of his later years include " Vasco da Gama encountering the Spirit of the Storm ," a picture immense in size and most powerful in conception finished in 1842, and now preserved in the Trinity House, Leith ; the " Duke of Gloucester entering the Water Gate of Calais " ( 1841 ); the " Alchemist " ( 1818 ), " Queen Elizabeth at the Globe Theatre " ( 1840 ) and " Peter the Hermit " ( 1845 ), remarkable for varied and elaborate character painting ; and " Ariel and Caliban " ( 1837 ) and the " Triumph of Love " ( 1846 ), distinguished by beauty of colouring and depth of poetic feeling.

The album again featured a number of guests including Josh Homme, Gavin Clark, Robert Del Naja, Ian Astbury, The Duke Spirit, Autolux and Neil Davidge.

The concert, set across four acts, featured live performances from past Unkle contributors including Badly Drawn Boy, Liela Moss from The Duke Spirit, Gavin Clark and Joel Cadbury from South.

The track " Mayday ", a collaboration between UNKLE and The Duke Spirit was released on the latest UNKLE album, War Stories, in the UK on 9 July 2007.
