Quba Mosque | Masjid Quba is the first mosque in Islam's history

Quba Mosque is the first mosque in history, and mosques have developed significantly since Quba mosque.

Medina is home to the three oldest mosques in Islam, namely Al-Masjid an-Nabawi ( The Prophet's Mosque ), Masjid Quba ' or Quba Mosque ( the first mosque in Islam's history ), and Masjid al-Qiblatain ( The Mosque of the Two Qiblahs-the mosque where the direction of Muslim prayer, or qiblah, was switched from Jerusalem to Mecca ).

The first mosque built during Muhammad's time is also located in Medina and is known as Masjid Qubaʼ ( the Quba Mosque ).

According to Islamic tradition, offering two rakaʿāt of nafl prayers in the Quba Mosque is equal to performing one Umrah.

He advised others to do the same, saying, " Whoever makes ablutions at home and then goes and prays in the Mosque of Quba, he will have a reward like that of an ' Umrah.

When Quba Mosque was rebuilt in 1986, the Medina architecture was retained-ribbed white domes, and basalt facing and modest exterior-qualities that recalls Madina's simplicity.

Quba Masjid is the first mosque built in the history of Islam and was built as soon as Muhammad arrived on the Hijra.

The merits of Masjid Quba are mentioned in nineteen Sahih al-Bukhari hadiths ; thirteen Sahih Muslim hadiths ; two Sunan Abu Dawood hadiths ; and six Al-Muwatta hadiths.

Diverse khanates existed in Azerbaijan, including Baku ( present capital ), Ganja, Jawad, Quba ( Kuba ), Salyan, Shakki ( Sheki, ruler style Bashchi since 1743 ) and Shirvan = Shamakha ( 1748 – 1786 temporarily split into Khoja Shamakha and Yeni Shamakha ), Talysh ( 1747 – 1814 ); Nakhichevan and ( Nagorno ) Karabakh.

By the peace of Gulistan ( 12 / 24 October 1813 ), Persia gave up all claim to Darband, Quba, Shirwan and Baku.

The most northeastern region of Azerbaijan, Xaçmaz ( or Khachmaz / Khachmas ) is sandwiched between the Caucasus Mountains in Quba and Qusar ( Gusar ), regions to the west, and the Caspian Sea to the east.

The border between Russia and Georgia still follows the watershed almost exactly ( with the exception of a narrow strip of territory in northern Mtskheta-Mtianeti and northwestern Kakheti where Georgia extends north of the watershed ), while Azerbaijan in its northeastern corner has five districts north of the watershed ( Davachi, Khachmaz, Quba, Qusar, Siazan ).

Now seven families are recently living which are Alvi, Mughani, Dinali, Sakhi, Quba, and Hadab, the population is around 1000.

Quba ( also known as Guba and Kuba ) is a rayon in northeastern Azerbaijan.

The capital ( Quba ) is located on the Kudyal River at 41. 37 ° N, 48. 50 ° E.

The fertile region surrounding Quba is best known for its production of apples and the city area of Quba is known for its fine carpets.

It is located about 10 km from the Caspian Sea, below Khudat, and to the east of Quba.

In 2002, Lezgian was spoken by about 397, 000 people in Russia, mainly Southern Dagestan, and in 1999 by 178, 400 people in mainly the Qusar, Quba, Qabala, Oghuz, Ismailli and Khachmaz ( Xaçmaz ) provinces of northeastern Azerbaijan.

Some of its dialects are considered very different from the standard form, including the Quba dialect spoken in Azerbaijan.

By this treaty all of the cities, towns, and villages of Georgia, villages and towns on the coast of the Black Sea, all of the cities, towns and villages of the Khanates in South Caucasus and part of the Talysh Khanate, including Megrelia, Abkhazia, Imeretia, Guria, Baku khanate, Shirvan Khanate, Derbent, Karabakh khanate, Ganja khanate, Shaki Khanate and Quba Khanate became part of Russia.

The Khans quickly switched sides and surrendered their principal cities, Lenkoran, Quba and Baku to the Persians.

In 1722 the Khan of Quba, Husayn Ali, submitted to Peter the Great and was accepted as his dginitary.

Inside the famous Friday Mosque of Herat or Masjid Jami, which is one of the oldest mosques in Afghanistan.

Another landmark is the Kajang Mosque or Masjid Kajang, which is easily recognisable by its bright yellow facade.

The city has numerous examples of modern Islamic architecture, including the Aga Khan University hospital, Masjid e Tooba, Faran Mosque, Bait-ul Mukarram Mosque, Quaid's Mausoleum, and the Textile Institute of Pakistan.

The twenty-eighth verse of the same chapter is more specific as it only considers polytheists in the Sacred Mosque, the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca:

They claimed that the Saudi royal family no longer represented pure Islam and that the Masjid al-Haram ( The Sacred Mosque ) and the Kaaba, must be held by those of true faith.

Among his other constructions are the Red Fort also called the Delhi Fort or Lal Qila in Urdu, large sections of Agra Fort, the Jama Masjid, the Wazir Khan Mosque, the Moti Masjid, the Shalimar Gardens, sections of the Lahore Fort, the Jahangir mausoleum — his father's tomb, the construction of which was overseen by his stepmother Nur Jahan and the Shahjahan Mosque.

Upon the capture of Jerusalem by the victorious Caliph Omar, Omar immediately headed to the Temple Mount with his advisor, Ka ' ab al-Ahbar, a formerly Jewish rabbi who had converted to Islam, in order to find the holy site of the " Furthest Mosque " or Al Masjid al Aqsa which was mentioned in the Quran and specified in the Hadiths of being in Jerusalem. Ka ' ab al-Ahbar suggested to Caliph Omar to build the Dome of the Rock monument on the site that Ka ' ab believed to be the Biblical Holy of the Holies, arguing that this site is where Mohammad ascended to heaven during the Isra and Mi ' raj miracle.
