PiL's last studio album of this period, 1992's That What Is Not, included a sample from the Sex Pistols ' song " God Save the Queen " in the song " Acid Drops " ( the younger Lydon's voice is heard chanting the words, " No future, no future ..." in the outro ).

Todd Rundgren recorded a version of " Do Ya " with his group Utopia on their album Another Live, Cheap Trick recorded a version of " California Man " on their Heaven Tonight album, whilst Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols admitted that one of the guitar riffs on " God Save The Queen " was inspired by that on " Fire Brigade ".
