The Premiers, now calling themselves The Teenagers, got their first shot at fame after impressing Richard Barrett, a singer with The Valentines.

After losing Lymon, the Teenagers went through a string of replacement singers, the first of whom was Billy Lobrano.

Lymon sung the lead on " Why Do Fools Fall in Love " instead, and the group was signed to Gee as The Teenagers, with Lymon as lead singer.

Groups like The Crows (" Gee "), The Orioles (" It's Too Soon to Know ") and Brooklyn's Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers (" Why Do Fools Fall in Love ") had a string of hit songs that brought the genre to chart domination by 1958 ( see 1958 in music ).

All of the musicians in this show's band, called the " Teenagers ", were between the ages of 16 and 19.

Due to a pressing error, an unknown number of copies had " Horror Business " on both sides rather than the b-side songs " Teenagers from Mars " and " Children in Heat ", and some also had a different back cover.

Goldner released the record, with " Please Be Mine " on the " B " side, under the name " Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers ", on his new " Gee Records " subsidiary, in January 1956.

Money Money 2020 was re-mastered and re-released by Reprise Records on November 9, 2004, with two additional tracks, " Hammer of the Gods " and a cover of The Misfits " Teenagers from Mars " which can also be heard on Tony Hawk's American Wasteland while " Roshambo " is on the NHL 2005 soundtrack.

The songs " Horror Business " and " Teenagers from Mars " were reissued on the Beware EP in 1980 and again on the compilation album Misfits in 1986, while " Children in Heat " was reissued on Collection II in 1995.

" Teenagers from Mars " was covered by Buck-O-Nine on their album Barfly ( 1995 ), by the Backyard Babies on Hell on Earth: A Tribute to the Misfits ( 2000 ), and by The Network on Money Money 2020 ( 2003 ).
