Several of these double entries have been collected by Ben Bagley and Michael McWhinney, along with Rodgers and Hart songs that disappeared permanently en route to New York and others that reached Broadway but have not become part of the constantly heard Rodgers and Hart repertory, in a delightfully refreshing album, Rodgers And Hart Revisited ( Spruce Records, 505 Fifth Avenue, New York ).

The first album to be released on CD was Billy Joel's 52nd Street, that reached the market alongside Sony's CD player CDP-101 on October 1, 1982 in Japan.

The album reached the Top 20 in the UK and was certified Silver.

Originally active from 1985 to 1996, the band have had consistent commercial and critical success in Australia and New Zealand and international chart success in two phases, beginning with their self-titled debut album, Crowded House, which reached number twelve on the US Album Chart in 1987 and provided the Top Ten hits, " Don't Dream It's Over " and " Something So Strong ".

It also reached number three in New Zealand and number twelve on the US Billboard 200 album chart.

The album reached number one in New Zealand, number two in Australia, number six in the UK and made the top 20 in several European countries.

The album reached the top 5 in Australia and New Zealand.

" Intriguer topped the Australian album chart, reached number 3 in New Zealand and number 12 in the UK.

Although it did not achieve the same levels of commercial success as the band's later releases ( it reached # 73 on the Billboard 200 ), it has been hailed by many fans and critics as Dream Theater's masterpiece and the band's defining album.

The album reached number 33 on the UK Albums Chart.

( British singer Vera Lynn reached the top of the chart in August 2009 at age 92, but with the greatest hits album, We'll Meet Again – The Very Best of Vera Lynn.

A duet with Ricky Van Shelton, " Rockin ' Years " ( 1991 ) reached number one but Parton's greatest commercial fortune of the decade came when Whitney Houston recorded " I Will Always Love You " for the soundtrack of the feature film The Bodyguard ( 1992 ); both the single and the album were massively successful.

It was followed by the studio album, " Backwoods Barbie ," which was released February 26, 2008, and reached number two on the country charts.

The band's album debut, Tin Machine ( 1989 ), was initially popular, though its politicised lyrics did not find universal approval: Bowie described one song as " a simplistic, naive, radical, laying-it-down about the emergence of neo-Nazis "; in the view of biographer Christopher Sandford, " It took nerve to denounce drugs, fascism and TV [...] in terms that reached the literary level of a comic book.

The album nevertheless reached number three in the UK.

His second solo album, Davy Jones ( 1971 ) was notable for the song " Rainy Jane ", which reached # 52 in the Billboard charts.

In Germany, " Only Time " re-entered the German single charts at number 1 and the album A Day Without Rain reached number one some weeks later.

ELO had reached the peak of their stardom, selling millions of albums and singles, and even inspiring a parody / tribute song on the Randy Newman album Born Again, titled " The Story of a Rock and Roll Band ".

The album reached number fourteen on Billboards Top Jazz Albums chart.

It peaked at number 2 in the US country album chart and reached number 13 on the Billboard 200 pop album chart.

The album also reached number 3 on the pop chart, and eventually became Brooks's highest-selling album, with domestic shipments of 17 million.

Once officially released there, in 1994, the album reached the top spot on the UK Country chart-albeit a particularly niche chart where few sales are needed to make the top slots – and number two on the UK pop albums chart.

His highest charting album, is his 2004 release Only You which reached No. 5 in the U. S. and No. 6 in Britain.

It peaked at # 5 on the Billboard 200, and has been certified with a gold album by the RIAA.

In 2012, the album was ranked # 385 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, while Newsweek magazine pronounced it the second best album of its decade.

The song " Boadicea ", also from this album, would later be sampled by The Fugees on their single " Ready or Not " ( 1996 ), causing a brief stir because the group neither sought permission from Enya nor gave her credit initially, and by Mario Winans, who did give her credit ( the Winans track, " I Don't Wanna Know " which features a rap by P. Diddy and is officially credited to all three artists, became Enya's highest charting single in the US, when it peaked at # 2 on the Hot 100 in 2004 ).

The album was a commercial disappointment compared to the band's previous effort, charting generally low at # 5.

The album peaked at # 9 on Billboard magazine's Top R & B / Hip-Hop Albums and at # 14 on the Billboard 200, spawning several singles including " Gotta Lotta Love ", " I Ain't New To This " and " 99 Problems " – which would later inspire Jay-Z to record a version with new lyrics in 2003.

The album became a success, reaching # 2 on the pop chart, and selling a million copies, staying on the charts for 14 months.

In 1974, he returned to the # 1 spot on the R & B charts with " The Payback ", with the parent album reaching the same spot on the album charts ; he would reach # 1 two more times in 1974 including " My Thang " and " Papa Don't Take No Mess ".

In 1988, Brown worked with the production team Full Force on the new jack swing-influenced album I'm Real, which spawned his final two Top 10 R & B hits, " I'm Real " and " Static ", which peaked at # 2 and # 5, respectively, on the R & B charts.

After his stint in prison during the late 1980s, Brown returned with the album, Love Overdue, in 1991, which included the single, "( So Tired Of Standing Still We Got To ) Move On ", which peaked at # 48 on the R & B chart.

Brown continued releasing recordings: in 1993, he issued the album, Universal James, which included Brown's final Billboard charted single, " Can't Get Any Harder ", which peaked at # 76 on the US R & B chart and # 59 on the UK chart.

Several songs from the album received regular airplay on major North American rock stations, with Hatfield's song " My Sister " becoming the biggest hit of her career, with a # 1 placing on the Modern Rock Tracks chart, and the video becoming an MTV staple.

His second album, 1986's The Secret Value of Daydreaming was panned by critics, but reached number 32 on the Billboard Magazines album chart, and produced the single " Stick Around ", which was his first # 1 single on the U. S. Album Rock Tracks chart.

In 1997, DJ Gruff dissed Articolo 31 in a track titled 1 vs 2 appearing on the first album of the beatmaker Fritz da Cat, but Articolo 31's lawyers obtained a retraction of the record, and its reissue without the song.

Four other hits from the album made the Pop top 20: " Every Heartbeat " ( No. 2 ), " That's What Love Is For " ( No. 7 ), " Good For Me " ( No. 8 ), and " I Will Remember You " ( No. 20 ).

The album was a multi-platinum success and produced the pop hit " Lucky One " ( No. 18 pop and No. 2 AC ; No. 1 on Radio & Records ) as well as the title track ( a duet with country music star and future husband Vince Gill ) ( No. 37 pop ) and a cover of Joni Mitchell's frequently covered " Big Yellow Taxi " ( No. 67 pop ) ( in which she changed the line " And they charged the people a dollar and a half just to see em " to " And then they charged the people 25 bucks just to see em ").

Mehmet Barış Manço ( also spelled Boris Mancho in some European album releases ), born Tosun Yusuf Mehmet Barış Manço, ( January 2, 1943-February 1, 1999 ) was a Turkish rock singer, composer, and television producer.

* Queen ( band )' s Roger Meddows Taylor included the track " Interlude in Constantinople " on Side 2 of his debut album Fun in Space.

It topped the album chart in New Zealand and made number 2 in Australia and number 3 in the UK.

On June 2, 2008, during an interview at the Danish Komiks. dk fair, Don stated that he would not do any more Disney comics, citing eye troubles, low pay, and the constant use of his stories in special hardback or album editions by international Disney licensees without any payment of royalties or requests for permission for the use of his name.

" Orinoco Flow ", reported to be named after Orinoco Studios ( now Miloco Studios ), where it was conceived, topped the charts in the United Kingdom, peaked at number 2 in Germany and the Watermark album sold eleven million copies.

2, a 2003 album by Stratovarius

The band released their second album, ELO 2 in 1973, which produced their first US chart single, a hugely elaborate version of the Chuck Berry classic " Roll Over Beethoven ".

Included amongst the remastered album tracks were unreleased songs and out-takes, including 2 new singles " Surrender " which registered on the lower end of the UK Singles Chart at number 81, some 30 years after it was written in 1976.

** ELO 2, the group's second album

His eponymous first album was released in 1989 and peaked at number 2 in the US country album chart while climbing to number 13 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Since 1989, Brooks has released 19 records in all, which include ; 9 studio albums, 1 live album, 4 compilation albums, 3 Christmas albums and 2 box sets, along with 77 singles.

Sales of the album were unspectacular and although it made it to number 2 on the pop album chart, expectations had been higher and retail stores began heavily discounting their oversupply.

Another album from Marsalis Music was recorded in 2005, Occasion: Connick on Piano, Volume 2, a duo album with Harry Connick, Jr. on piano together with Branford Marsalis on saxophone.
