Several of these double entries have been collected by Ben Bagley and Michael McWhinney, along with Rodgers and Hart songs that disappeared permanently en route to New York and others that reached Broadway but have not become part of the constantly heard Rodgers and Hart repertory, in a delightfully refreshing album, Rodgers And Hart Revisited ( Spruce Records, 505 Fifth Avenue, New York ).

The album nevertheless reached number three in the UK.

His second solo album, Davy Jones ( 1971 ) was notable for the song " Rainy Jane ", which reached # 52 in the Billboard charts.

In Germany, " Only Time " re-entered the German single charts at number 1 and the album A Day Without Rain reached number one some weeks later.

ELO had reached the peak of their stardom, selling millions of albums and singles, and even inspiring a parody / tribute song on the Randy Newman album Born Again, titled " The Story of a Rock and Roll Band ".

In 1994 Branford Marsalis, the American jazz saxophonist, included samples of Fela's " Beast of No Nation " on his Buckshot LeFonque album.

During the January 1969 sessions for the Let It Be album, the Beatles played a slow impromptu version of " Mailman, Bring Me No More Blues " — although not written by Holly, it was popularized by him — with Lennon mimicking Holly's vocal style ; the recording was eventually released in the mid-1990s on Anthology 3.

The album garnered the band their first and only No. 1 hit single on the Modern Rock Tracks chart with the title track " Celebrity Skin ".

* The song No Joy in Mudville from Death Cab for Cutie's album We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes directly references the poem.

" In 1977 the Commodores scored a ballad hit with " Easy ", which became the group's biggest hit yet, reaching No. 4 in the U. S., followed by the funky favorite " Brick House ", also Top 5, both from their landmark album " The Commodores ", as was the utopian album favorite " Zoom ".

No mention of this album has been made on the band's official website or Twitter page, which suggests that they are not involved with its release.

With its debut at No. 9, Day made history, becoming the oldest female artist to ever have had a top ten album on the Top 40 Official UK Album chart.

Parton's soundtrack album from her own 1992 film, Straight Talk, however was less successful, though her 1993 album Slow Dancing with the Moon won critical acclaim, and did well on the charts, reaching No. 4 on the country albums charts, and No. 16 on the Billboard 200 albums charts.

He ran on his plump sticks of legs, freezing now and again into the sudden startled attitudes which the camera had caught and held on the paling photographs, all carefully placed and glued and labeled, resting in the fat plush album in the bottom drawer of the escritoire.

A version with Alicia Keys was included in Charles ' 2005 duets album Genius & Friends.

The band completed their third album and released it exclusively digital on August 29, 2009.

While the group only recorded one album together as the Analog Brothers, a few bootlegs of its live concert performances, including freestyles with original lyrics, have occasionally surfaced online.

Marc also formed a group with Black Silver called Live Black, but while five of their tracks were released on a demo CD sold at concerts, Live Black's first album has yet to be released.

In 2008, Ice-T and Black Silver toured together as Black Ice, and released an album together called Urban Legends.

Woolfson, a songwriter and composer, was working as a session pianist ; he had also composed material for a concept album idea based on the work of Edgar Allan Poe.

Woolfson came up with the idea of making an album based on developments in the film industry, where directors such as Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick were the focal point of the film's promotion, rather than individual film stars.

Their first album, Tales of Mystery and Imagination, including major contributions by all members of Pilot and Ambrosia, was a success, reaching the Top 40 in the US Billboard 200 chart.

The song " The Raven " featured lead vocals by the actor Leonard Whiting, and, according to the 2007 remastered album liner notes, was the first rock song to use a digital vocoder, with Alan Parsons speaking lyrics through it.

There were fewer hit singles, and declining album sales.

1987's Gaudi was the Project's last release, though they planned to record an album called Freudiana next.

Although the studio version of Freudiana was produced by Parsons ( and featured the regular Project backing musicians, making it an ' unofficial ' Project album ), it was primarily Woolfson's idea to turn it into a musical.

In 1981, Parsons, Woolfson and their record label Arista, were stalled in contract renegotiations when on 5 March the two submitted an all-instrumental atonal album tentatively titled ' The Sicilian Defence ' ( the name of an aggressive opening move in chess ), arguably to get out of their recording contract.

Arista's refusal to release the album had two known effects: the negotiations led to a renewed contract and the album was never released.

In interviews made before his 2009 death, Woolfson said he planned to release one track from the " Sicilian " album, which in 2008 appeared as a bonus track on a CD re-issue of the Eve album.
